Absolutely delicious!! Service was excellent, as was the food and portions. We had a party of 4 and got the turkey melt, brisket plate, BBQ pork nachos and boneless wings. Wings were so-so, but everything else was fantastic! We came on a Friday around 12:30 and they were sadly out of meatloaf and hushpuppies. Working near by and my client said I HAD to try this place so I did. Their most popular thing was their brisket so I got the platter. Comes with 2 sides and I just asked what the waitress recommended and got the hush puppies and potato salad. The potato salad was pretty ok but the hush puppies were a little dry. Even with the honey butter which tasted like butter with sugar and cinnamon. The brisket... was also a bit dry :/ and very salty. The BBQ sauce was too tangy for my taste, I like mine sweet and spicy with as least amount of tang as possible. We have been twice. The first and second time the for food to come out was close to an hour. The first time we ate here the wings were just amazing. We had family and friends in town a few weeks later and wanted to impress them. But the second time we went the food was all barely edible. Everything came out cold. The wings were so dry and overcooked. Someone’s med/rare burger was so dry and overcooked they gagged trying to eat it. We were just so starving we ate what we could with lots of water. Such a shame. We had thought we found our new go to place. There is a really nice atmosphere inside and a fun location! I think they would have remade our food but after waiting an hour we just weren’t interested in waiting any longer.
