I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a delightful meal. The menu offered a wide range of dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations. We just came for appetizers but it looks like a great restaurant to have a full dinner at. Indoor seating is super nice and there’s a lot of outdoor seating as well.

Five star for medium courses, innovative asian fusion food, amazed me so much even I am from Hong Kong and had taste so many asian food. Five star for the location and services. One star for the tempura broccoli tho. Terrible. Chef clearly has no idea what a tempura is. DO NOT ORDER THAT.

Backyard has its own vibe. Aimed towards the hip and daring lifelovers, it will surprise you with an unexpectedly delicious fusion of flavors. Tried the Korean BBQ burger and was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it! They also offer some local beer (Big Island Lager) that you should definitely try. Oh yeah, and the music is great!

Our dinner at Backyard was perfection! We eat mostltvegetarian (with occasional fish) and there were plenty of delicious non-meat options from which to choose. We started with a yummy Aperal Spritz and Summer Spritz and then shared the ahi tuna, golden beets, burrata with roasted peached and grilled cucumbers. All were superbly prepared. The food was super amazing.. it is small portions you will need like two dishes min.. i had amazing lamp steak, sweet potatos and burger!! Overall experience was super cool.

Overpriced. Prawn dish was quite disappointing overall (served with some pre-baked baguette?). Char was ok but too much salt even for me.
