I’ve been to many Baker’s cottage branch, and finally Alor Gajah has 1! But, until now i dont seem to sight any Halal cert/logo for this branch, though other branch does. My mom said when she asked last year, excuse given was - we’re new, in the process of obtaining….but hello 2021 and I dont see any cert displayed. Malay muslim worker doesnt certify a shop halal, I hope u know that. Also, maybe dont give a defective item to your customer. They surely remember.
And on several visits, I cant use eWallet. Very annoying. Pls improve your service on this, because were very digital these days. Nasib baik I bawak Credit card. I dont even bring cash.
Went during lunch time on Friday 21/10 for the whole hicken and cakes. can improve on red velvet. black forest and choc cakes are nice. Nice staffs. Easy parking.

Honestly never had encountered such issues as of today. Around 1pm macam tu, i went there with my mom. Suddenly, memang ada dua je staff, sorang jaga cashier and sorang tolong pack kan nasi or ayam kat belakang kaunter, hentak everything. Hentak hentak makanan, campak campak makanan, menjerit sana sini, the best part was banyak sangat mencarut. Kami customers were very clueless. I’ve tried to whatsapp the given number for feedback but then still no reply maybe because today is Saturday. So takpa we’ll see on Monday macam mana.
What we’ve heard from both of the staffs sambil diorang mencampak and menghentak literally everything (including cabinets yang tak bersalah tu, rosaklah dik harta benda syarikat haih), they were mad because ada sorang staff tak masuk kerja ke macam mana entah, but please Manager, please ambil berat on this issue. Idk whats happening internally, but i really hope actions will be taken ya.
If you’re mad at someone, please jangan lepaskan to the wrong person. Be professional, be ethical. You can simply put up a sign for a ten-minute break ke apa, we customers akan faham, if you need some moment to chill or bertenang ke apa, just go. Kami respect je because we are all human beings. Semua ada emosi, ada perasaan, but kena pandai manage stress sendiri in order for these innoncent people tak jadi mangsa keadaan.
Lastly, i was very disappointed. Bakers cottage is always one of my favourite places 😞 benda macam ni memang akan jatuhkan rating and image. Would really appreciate the management to overcome this problem asap.
Thank you for the amazing service previously. But honestly i will never come back to bakers cottage if staffs are behaving like this.
