This bar is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Also, guests recommend Barrio because of average prices. We've been here twice now and have it enjoyed it overall. The tacos are great. They've got a solid list of favorites but you're also able to build your own The atmosphere is great and they've got a patio as well. Only downside is service. Terrible food, was highly inedible. Build your own tacos is a good concept if they used better than Taco Bell quality. The food was over priced and the specials our waiter pushed to us were just terrible. We were over charged on items we never got, and it took the manager counting our plates for them to be removed. I thought a down town restaurant would be good but then now understand why there were empty tables on a Saturday night. Margaritas were overpriced and very weak. Decor is great and hard to miss even just walking by. Fun menu with variety of flavors you normally would not think about together. Loved the layered and stuffed tortillas, I mean seriously, wow!! Everything I ordered was delicious - I made the el pastor bowl into a taco w stoner shell, the el vegano and el jefe loco tacos. Yummy seasonal sugar watermelon Margarita-thingy. Great tacos/bowls for the price! As a vegan, I'm a big fan of being able to customize your meal. Food has always been made quickly and correctly, except for one time which they quickly resolved! David is also one of my all time favorite servers, really nice dude! I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the music in there is almost deafening. We were really looking forward to the food and drinks here. And actually, the food and drinks were great. However, the service was such a big disappointment! And for restaurants to have poor customer service is something that should never happen! Some of us had ordered some beers and the waiter got the size incorrect. However, instead of leaving their mistake, they took away the drinks. It made no sense to waste those drinks! Also, we had ordered queso and chips and pretty quickly we ran out of chips. I asked for another basket and they never brought them. By the time I asked them again the kitchen was closed and supposedly they didn’t have any more chips! Running out of chips at a Mexican restaurant is just ridiculous. Instead of pretending to run out of chips they should have apologized. Again, customer service is so important in the restaurant business and this restaurant failed in this aspect. I would not recommend this restaurant. They made us some of the best tacos we’ve ever had! The stuffed shells were different and super yummy. We also ordered bloody Mary’s and they were phenomenal! Our server was extremely helpful and so friendly and the environment was unique and fun. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

My most gorgeous Queen, our two Daughters, and our friends shared an evening meal here. Upon the arrival out front, you're greeted by a large scull above. When entering, you quickly see the theme of the establishment. Hand painted scenes on the walls and unique chandeliers... The custom tacos were great. A HUGE variety of ingredients... Lot's of fun for sure! Prices are very reasonable! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing tacos, love the way you order your build your own tacos, lots of options. Seriously the best margarita I've ever had. Place is spacious. Didn't like the cash out process.
