We had an amazing cooking class here. I recommend everyone who is into food to have this experience. We cooked 5 local dishes, participated in every process.
The owner of the place and other cooks were super nice, They explained everything, let us do a lot of cooking, answered every question. After that we ate everything together, and it was delicious.
I absolutely recomand it.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at this establishment. We ordered the red snapper, fish curry, chicken tandoori, and spinach curry.
Unfortunately, the red snapper was not up to par. The fish was very dry and lacked flavor. In fact, the skin was completely black and burnt, which added an unpleasant taste to the dish. Additionally, the fish curry was quite bland and lacked depth of flavor, while the spinach curry was over-seasoned and too salty. The chicken tandoori was super dry and really tasty.
One major downside of this restaurant is that they do not serve any alcoholic beverages, which may be a dealbreaker for some patrons.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience. The lack of quality in the dishes and absence of any alcoholic drinks made for a disappointing dining experience.

Great little local restaurant.
A perfectly balanced menu with local dishes and only fresh ingredients. Grilled fish was fine perfectly and the curry absolutely tasty.
Here you can enjoy a great lunch or dinner with local food with your feet in the sand.
A family run restaurant with delicious zanzibari dishes and the best octopus curry in Paje. Very friendly and service oriented. The ambience is simple, almost minimalistic. We like this, but some might prefer a lush setting.

Restaurant without a good view on the ocean, but the food it’s really good especially grilled octopus and octopus curry. Prices are very reasonable. Go and try by yourself.
Probably the best meal we had in Zanzibar! Found out about this place by luck from taxi driver, unfortunately on our last day. It is near Paje beach and easy to find. Big portion of sea food for affordable price. We had plate of sea food for one person (it's like for two) and swahili prepared octopus in sauce. It was tasty and well prepared. Sincere recommendations!
I came here from Jambiani to see what is so special about this place. It doesn't have ocean view, no license for alcohol, and toilet to pay 2000 shillings. But the food is good and juices are fresh. I had my white snapper with rosemary potato and mango juice only for 19000 shillings.
Amazing food and atmosphere! The octopus in coconut sauce was amazing and the kitchen was playing really nice music. Everyone working there was really smiling! Highly recommended!
