They were very busy, but our server was attentive, very sweet, and the food was great. The Wall eye was cooked perfectly, I fell in love with the hot Jamaican wing sauce, and the ribeye was gigantic and delicious!

Stood there for 45 minutes for 2 simple gyros to go. Others that arrived after me, were seated, and fed before I got my order after asking several times. Another online order came in placed after mine that also went out before me. Not only that, I get the order home and it was completely wrong and looks like someone just microwaved it. Drove back and the 'owner' was more concerned about how to refund and get me out. Never apologized.

Great little place for comfort food. We came here with our 3 little kids after Iceman Cometh for dinner. Prices were extremely reasonable (kids meals for $5, what?) And the server was really friendly. Food was good. Atmosphere is definitely a northern sports bar.

The younger woman bartender in the evening was awesome!! We had a great Convo about our trips and she made fantastic shots! Recommended the BBQ chicken pizza and it was fabulous!! The older bartender that was there the next night was not.. she was exceptionally slow and didn't help anyone that wasn't a regular. We would definitely come back but not sit at the bar if she was there!

The deck is the best part of this restaurant and bar. The drinks were great and the views were beautiful. We went in September and the deck was only serving drinks, but it sounds like in the summer they offer a menu. We did eat lunch inside and it was OK. Ramen was very spicy (states light spice) and the burger was good. Window sills could us a good cleaning. Service was slow. Great views inside as well.

The Bayview Inn always seems to have a full parking lot. I now can see why, the food was delicious. Lots of comfort food on the menu to choose from. Everything we ate was good. The reason for the low rating on the service was not only the fact the waitress never returned to check on us but a we also recieved the wrong bill when she did.

Been coming to Bayview for many years now. Food never disappoints, staff are great, and being across from the bay is a real treat. Can't say enough good things about this place!

They were really busy both inside and outside but still managed. Not too long of a wait. Great location off highway 31 across from the west grand traverse bay. We were even waited on by the owner himself as his staff was swamped. We had gyros and Greek salad with some beers. Very good. Indoor and outside deck seating with a great view of the bay.

Gyro Platter
We've driven by this establishment countless times (live locally) and despite having a bad experience with them years ago, decided to give them another chance last night (Saturday).
We chose the outdoor patio at about 9pm and there were two couples seated at tables and three patrons seated at the bar.
We were hungry, thirsty, and looked forward to parting ways with some disposable income. We waited only a few minutes to be seated but once we were, the server completely ignored us, even though she was the one sat us. We saw one other server and a bartender and the patio was not crowded.
The server that sat us busied herself with sidework then AFTER she sat us, she prepared an 8-10 top next to where we were sat, who arrived 5-10 minutes after us. She proceeded to bring flatware and menus to the table that arrived after us AND took their drink order. She finally acknowledged me after leaving the table that came in after us and acted like she was going to finally bring flatware and menus, maybe take a drink order, but then went back to doing side work. We left after a few more minutes and won't bother trying the Bayview Inn again. Waiting 20 minutes just to be acknowledged is completely unacceptable in the SERVICE industry. I'm patient and kind when it comes to restaurants, having worked in hospitality my entire adult life. I understand staffing shortages. That was not the case here. All three just simply and purposefully ignored us.
We moved on to McGee's in Williamsburg, which always has fantastic service and food.

We came for supper and ate on the outside deck. It was fantastic! Our wait staff was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our vittles... pizza, sub, breaded mushrooms and onion rings. It was reasonably priced too. We would definitely come back.
