Food was yummy and generous in portion size. We were happily surprised to find such a great Caribbean/Jamaican spot in Pittsfield! Service was friendly and kind. Curry goat was flavorful and tender. Oxtails were melt in your mouth with just the right hit of spice. Sides of collards, cabbage and coco rice and beans were amazing as well. We took the food out so can't say much about the atmosphere but it seemed super cozy and cute. Got the house-made sorrel, jerk chicken, coconut rice & beans, sautéed Babbage, and carrot cake! Everything was so flavorful. The chicken was fall off the bone tender. Service was so nice. I had the oxtails, greens, Mac and cheese, jerk chicken, and plantain chips. Everything was tasty. The rice was flavored with coconut and very tender with the peas. The oxtails were fall off the bone succulent; I like mine spicy—these were not, but they were good. The jerk sauce was sweet and hot. Packed with flavor. I’ll be returning!

I needed to stop & take a break from walking so much in village. So we entered the cafe to try sorell and their potato salad. Both were extremely good. In town for a show yesterday and popped in for lunch. Ate at the table outside overlooking the river. There is also a park across the way with picnic tables. Place was spotless, service was friendly and food was fantastic. The jerk chicken/sauce was rich and flavorful with a nice bite, but not too spicy. On the side we had tasty coconut rice and beans and the best collards ever, light, fresh and not overcooked. Fried plantains were cooked perfectly - sweet and caramelized on the outside. Spicy Jamaican beef patty was a solid version of a classic. Will return as often as I can

First time trying BB’s Hot Spot, when we arrived the aromas greeted us from the street. The interior, although small was very clean. We each had the large Jerk Chicken with cabbage and collards greens for sides. The chicken had ample sauce and the spices were perfect, not too hot. The included cabbage and collard green sides were each tasty. All of these flavors brought us back to the Caribbean. We look forward to returning to this restaurant and trying other menu items!
