Definitely a local dive bar. When I stopped in I chatted with the bartender ans she said it's mostly just regulars, but they were all friendly which made for a fun environment

If you are looking for a true dive bar this is it. It is not fancy and not even all that clean. There is a crew of regulars that hang out there and are pretty friendly. And if you're a smoker, you'll definitely like it!

If you're not looking for the whole sports bar, big bar thing, this place is great. I've been there about 2 or 3 times in about 2 months and every time I'm there, there are the regulars who are very friendly, but each time everyone is very cool, as soon as you're there, it's like you've been coming there for years, someone almost always asks your name and starts talking with you like you've talked before, and it's never too busy to get a drink in a timely manner. Bartenders will stay and talk but will cut the conversation short to serve someone and then pick it back up later, which I think is important because too many will stay and talk to up their tip and leave others waiting. If I had to compare it.... Cheers on a lower budget, which speaking of, great drink prices.

As St. Louis' 2nd oldest active bar, it has that older neighborhood bar feel. Everyone is friendly, drinks are cheap. Cozy. Everyone is cool. Great place to chill in The Southside

It's your basic bung hole dive. For 3 bucks a beer you can enjoy smelling piss and it has a contoured patio that offers things to trip over everywhere. Oh yeah if you like canned beer i think thats 2 bucks. I've never been on friday but the rest of the week you can find the most minimum service of any place in St. Louis. It gives you that down home feel as if you were sipping your drink out of somebody's butt.

Behrmann's Tavern has been a dive bar in St Louis for ever make sure you had it up on Tuesdays and Thursdays and say hi to the bartender nothing truly special about this place just a great South city dive bar
