You SHOULD go there for the drinks. Amazing vibe, super chilled out and you gotta hear Nigel sing! One word, Amazing! The cocktails there are fab and this place feels like home away from home. Will definitely come back here and you should visit too. Thank me later!

We are very happy that we found Bernie's. Nigel is incredibly kind and friendly. The beverages are reasonably priced. And he is such a good singer! A nice place to chill with interesting decor. Our parents, who are about eighty years old, had a good time too. We had a great night there and will most certainly return the next time we are in Melaka.

Very nice place , I recommend to everyone looking for a local experience,and if you like to watch clips and music from the 80's this is a place to be ,Nigel Is a great singer,if you are lucky enough you may assist one day to one of his prouesses:)

We recently visited this pub and met it's really friendly owner Nigel. He plays really good music and is an amazing singer! Prices are very reasonable too, so if you want to experience the neighborhood pub vibe like Cheers, and listen to music choices from the 80s and 90s ie the time when people made good music, then this is the place for you!

No food. Great friendly charming owner, Nigel. He serves, sings, great PR, reasonably priced beverages.

The owner is so friendly that you will feel so welcomed in the environment. Yet, you will have the chance to get to know more about the place and the ppl. It’s one of the best bar I have ever been, not like the commercialised bars in the old town!

Nicest bar in Melaka! Tucked away from the main touristy areas this bar is a great place to mix with locals and listen to great music. Nigel goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome with great cocktails/drinks, karaoke and pool! Arrive as strangers and leave as friends, Bernies is definitely where happy people meet! A place you just want to come again and again. Many drinks that you want to try. Superb service. Friendly bartender that attends to your need.A cosy environment.Minus the loud noise. Reasonable price on drinks. You just want to order more.
