Great American diner. Delicious food and friendly staff. Lots of interesting things to buy as souvenirs. Very unique souvenirs from coasters to fire boxes. Burgers were great and they made us fresh donuts for $8. We didn't have time for the museum but it looks good. Love this place and stop as often as possible. Food is consistantly great and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Well decorated and very clean. Ordered breakfast plate & donuts to share; received two orders of the breakfast because waitress misunderstood. Don’t eat bacon so much of food went to waste. Cute breakfast place. If you're looking for an American breakfast this is the place to go. We had waffles, French toast, coffee, milk shakes, and cinnamon sugar homemade doughnuts. Such a fun Grease vibe atmosphere. Will be back next time we're in Kaikoura. We got breakfast with everything, and every bit on our plates was delicious! Bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, eggs (we chose scrambled), and sausages. Beverages were refreshing. The shake was scrumptious. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive, and when we asked about different options, she was happy to respond - didn't get annoyed at all! :) They weren't able to make breakfast donuts that day because the machine wasn't working properly but the service and food was so good, we didn't care lol. Just had a milkshake, wasn't bad, but not the best. Service was good, waiters were very friendly and helpful, although took quite awhile for me to get my milkshake (15 min) and it wasn't busy. However, very iconic 50s diner style was very cool and the museum seems interesting (didn't actually go into the museum). Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
