Big D's BBQ has become one of my favorite lunch spots in town. Every visit is met with exceptional BBQ and fast service.
Recently we enjoyed the Pitmaster sandwich and the brisket chili. The Pitmaster has tender brisket, delectable sausage, and the perfect touch of fiery jalapenos between two slices of bread. The This flavor-packed creation is a true masterpiece that will leave you craving for more.
We also really enjoyed the brisket chili, with a wonderful smokey flavor, great beans, and perfect toppings.
Speaking of beans: We can recommend a side of their Pit Beans. Packed with meaty goodness and bursting with incredible flavors, these beans were the perfect sidekick for our meal.

So so BBQ. Presentation was not the best and meat was cold. The beans were okay. The potato salad was not homemade but not the worst. Much better BBQ places than this. Would not recommend.

We brought in a group of 23 with no notice and they served our food super fast! AND it was delicious! Pictured is my half chicken platter. It is smoked but does not have a heavily smoked flavor. ❤️ not pictured are the loaded nachos that some of our group got, and they are HUGE!!

Big D's Pit Beans
For starters we were very excited to try this place out. We ordered the sampler platter, and got 2 sides (coleslaw, and Mac and cheese). The food was very tasty, but we found multiple things in the food we could of choked on, plastic and a chicken bone. There are plenty of other restaurants we can go to without the risk of choking, so we'll go somewhere else next time. When we found the second item (the chicken bone) I waved over the manager, but she didn't come over, I went to her in this case and requested to speak with her at our table where we had left the items. She tried to justify us finding a chicken bone, saying that the meat is pulled from the chicken, like we didn't know that.. then I showed her the plastic and she had no excuses for that, I'm sure if she could have come up with one she would have laid it on us though. Anyways, they said they could refund us, I told them that we didn't want a refund, and that we just wanted to make them aware. The manager then went to get the head cook and brought her out so that we (the customers, not her the manager) could explain the issue we found with the food.. All in all, won't be going here again, which is kinda sad, because the food tasted good, just I'd rather not choke and die..

TL;DR: Order the Smokehouse Burger and you won't be disappointed.
We stopped in after my niece saw a commercial for this place and would not stop talking about it. And she wasn't wrong when she said it would be good.
We had a party of 8 and the staff immediately dropped what they were doing to help us setup. Every interaction and instance of service was blissful.
I split the Smokehouse Burger with my wife (we weren't super hungry and it was piled with meat). The cheddar cheese strings off with each bite and the brisket is well cooked and pairs perfectly with the ensemble.
We ordered fries as a side, but I was too full to appreciate them by the time I got around to them. They were seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Probably delicious if I hadn't eaten more than I expected to already.
Our party also split a "Feast" think a tray of various meats and a few extra plates. Each of them said it was delicious from the ribs to the pulled chicken.
I had a craft beer while I was here (Float Trip by Piney River Brewing). It was ok, but paired well with the food. I actually missed getting it initially (whether through my own lack of attention or the sudden influx of people trying to order. They remembered what I ordered and made it right as soon as I brought it to their attention (seriously great service).
We also split a loaded potato "teaser" (appetizer). It was good, but I didn't expect the baked beans that made up the bottom layer of the cheese and meat filled skins.
We picked up a brownie at the register that I did not have the appetite to approach I'm told it was amazing.

Mine was too dry to choke down. I had brisket sandwich. I thought my husband would over eat,( not really ). We both had about a 14.00 plate. Here is a pic. of Darrell's plate . Also the man who took our order was rude at first but got nicer.

One of our favorites when vacationing in Branson. We sometimes eat here twice a week plus bring food home with us.
We have never ever been disappointed. We usually share the family feast platter that has about everything. The pork, brisket and sausage are my favorites! We also love the mac & cheese, fries, and fried okra. My son loves their ribs. We also bring their rubs and sauces home. Their sweet sauce is the best!
This is a GREAT place to eat!

Big D's Pit Beans
Got a hot tip from a local (who we met at Bass Pro) who pointed us to Big D's. We had sampler--with potato salad and beans--and an full order of nacho's
Everything was tasty and we loved the options to add bbq sauce (3 were at the table). Big dining area and very clean.
Highly recommend!
