The atmosphere was cozy and nice. However, customer service was very bad. Waiter cant understand and speak English. We received our food after such a long wait. Almost 45 mins of waiting and we were the only customer in the entire restaurant. The food I would say was just ok nothing to shout about but the price was very expensive. Portion was suprisingly very small. Not worth the money. Overall i would say i will never return to this place. Please improve the service, preparation speed, portion size and menu varieties. Brought my friend to Bistro Cascata to celebrate her birthday. I pre-ordered my set meal and requested if the restaurant could do something special for my guest. Mr Ameerul, the manager of the restaurant and his team did an excellent job in setting up decorations, providing live birthday song and a cake with personalised birthday wordings. My guest was totally thrilled and surprised by the well planned arrangements. My guest and I had an extremely good and unforgettable time at your restaurant. Service was excellent, staff was courteous, polite and friendly. Food was delicious. Both my guest and I loved the 5 course meal from the beginning till the end. Once again, thank you very much for the experience tonight. This is a place I strongly recommend for those who want to spend a quiet dinner with a special one.

Great food and beautiful restaurant! The service is also so considerate, it was raining when we left so the resort staff came woth an umbrella and drove us in a van to our car! It made my friend's birthday a truly memorable celebration!

For the amount we paid, the food was not worth it. Their beef burger was extremely dry and lasagna was too sweet. Please improve on food quality and taste. Food tasted good, service was excellent, portions a bit on the small side. Certainly the best Italian food in this area. Edit: I have decided to change from 4 to 1 stars. They have changed the menu, put up the prices, and made the food significantly worse. It is now one of the most over priced, below par restaurants in Malaysia. We won't even go with 50% discount from Eatigo any more.

Authentic western, italian food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The chef was also helpful when my son (extremely picky eater) didn't want any veggies in his food). The steaks are excellent. Prices are expected in a 5 star resort. The setting very romantic. I wish I could afford to come more often

Like many others I have been confused by the wide disparity in the reviews.... I then noticed that many of the "better/more highly ranked reviews" were done by people from outside Malaysia!! I have tried many "Malaysian Italian Restaurants" [as well as many such restaurants in Italy, Europe & North America] and it seems as though they adapt a lot to meet "local Tastes".... This restaurant is different from many Malaysian Italian Restaurants! The setting is wonderful, the menu is more "International Italian" and is not disappointing!! The poolside location adds substantially to the ambience. Its definitely worthy of a visit!!!!

Food is alright but service is poor and slow. Assuming if it was full house, it is understandable but we were the only table with 6 people and yet they forgot our orders of salad and pesto spaghetti. Servers are not well trained as they are all over when trying to reset the table and making so much noise with the clanking of utensils and stuff. You almost feel so embarrassed for them. This is what I call lacking in finesse. They were not attentive and you have to constantly ask the server to refill the empty glasses with water. They may call themself an Italian bistro, but sadly they are not even close as far as service is concerned. You can almost sense no teamwork especially to booboo on such straight forward orders. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are planning something for a special occasion. Restaurants in an around KL are much poised to give excellent service, right on the buck every single time.

The food, flavourwise is very delicious and flavourful! But is too small in serving to be charging such exorbitant prices. We had the aglio olio pasta with half a Boston lobster, that came with the smallest serving of pasta. Ordered morrocan lamb pizza next and that was worth it, cooked perfectly. Had the lamb rack & tenderloin, for the sides of we opted for mushroom risotto as well. Tenderloin came overcooked and we sent it back, but the mistake was corrected and finally had a tender medium rare. Mushroom risotto was amazing but potato gratin was too small in size for rm12.
