Black Oak Grill in Branson is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is located at Brandon Landing with one wall being windows so you can people watch as you enjoy your meal with family and friends. The restaurant has a vast bar area and can accommodate large groups. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very open concept. The food is consistently good with a variety of items on the menu. The Ozark burger is a favorite and comes with an egg and all the fixings. The smoked chicken salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing is also delicious. The onion rings are a must-try appetizer. The drinks are served in mason jars and the cocktails are creative. Prices are very reasonable and the service is always great. The view of Lake Taneycomo is a nice bonus. Black Oak Grill is a great spot at the Branson Landing and definitely worth a visit.

Just stumbled on to this place and wow. This is my new favorite place in Branson. The food was amazing and the service was top notch.👍 The table bread is great and the grilled meatloaf was the best I have ever had and the mashed potatoes and gravy are excellent. 👌 The deserts are a real treat also. The place has a very minimalist and contemporary looks to it, they have plenty of seating for both big and small parties. The menu is very varied, and they have lunch specials until 3pm, and the food is very flavorful and fresh, I would recommend the Pot Roast and the chicken fried chicken. Prices ranged from $10.99 (burgers) to 29.99 (ribeye), but most plates are about $15. Service was really good, our server was very attentive, and made really good recommendations. Great food and service! Only complaint was the wait time. We were quoted 10-15 mins for our party of 5. We saw several large tables available but we had to wait over 30 minutes for one of the occupied tables to leave. When they finally left, it was another 5 minutes before anyone cleaned the table. I ordered the shrimp & ribeye. The ribeye was not good at all. I ordered it "medium rare" & it was "well done"! Not even close. It was also very tough. I didn't even eat half of it before I gave up on it. The other food was pretty good. I will say, I did not complain at all. So that part is on me. Our server Erhan was outstanding! In fact when he asked if I wanted a box to go, I just told him "no thank you". He said "I'm guessing you didn't like it?". I told him it was ok. He looked at it & immediately said "I'm so sorry, you ordered it medium rare & that is definitely very well done.". He really did want to try to do something, but it was the end of our meal & I'm typically not one to complain. But, I was very excited about this dinner & was unfortunately disappointed. Excellent steak house set along the river at The Landings in Branson. The facility offers indoor and outdoor seating and has a separate room from the rest of the restaurant for a more-intimate experience as well. There is a full-stocked bar with additional seating, if you prefer. You can find a variety of local and national beers, wines and other spirits. The food menu has several signature dishes and I especially recommend the steak! (My wife loved the ribeye). The plate dinners include sides, such as seasonal vegetables. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We are so happy we came across this place! To be able to find a place that has food with so much flavor, the customer service is on point, and it does not break your pocketbook by eating here..is rare! We are local in the area, but this is our first time eating here. We decided to try the meatloaf, and it was one of the best restaurant meat loaves we have ever tasted! We ourselves are small business owners locally, and love that they outsource a lot of their products from local businesses in the area. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. The hubby already wants to go back in the morning to try the breakfast! He said the sweet tea was really good also! 🙂 Side note: You can feed the littles 🧒🏻👧🏼 for only $5 kids meals! I was surprised with the level of communication amongst the staff here. After telling them about my gluten allergy, our waitress informed the manager on duty and she came to the table to speak to us. As they don't have anything labeled gluten free on the menu, the manager lists off everything that can be made gluten free. They do have a dedicated fryer, so I was able to have their French fries. They were well seasoned and crispy. I tried the clubhouse sandwich on gluten free bread, and it was really good! I would order it again! A family member ordered the same sandwich on regular bread, and they agreed that it was good. My family enjoyed the fried goat cheese ball. They were also pleasantly surprised by the rolls with sweet butter. I would definitely return if we are ever in the area again. My first time trying out this restaurant. I thought the atmosphere and food were great. The waiter went way beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They have a lunch menu which is nice so that the prices are a little cheaper. The lunch Pot Roast was so tender and juicy. The Chicken Fried Steak and the Ruben are also excellent choices too. The ONLY reason why I’m not giving it a 5 star, is due to the menu being very limited and because it took the hostess to find our waiter to come and introduce themselves to us. Prior to that, we were just sitting there like ducks. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was nicely decorated, and the place was clean. The food was very good! I highly recommend this place to visitors such as ourselves. We do not regret coming here at all. Truly enjoyed the environment.
