I ordered from Blackwater Cafe today and I think this is my new favorite cafe!! I came in 10 minutes ago and there were these two teen girls. I ordered a blended mocha from this girl. It was so delicious I need more. I am coming back again!!

Blackwater bubble tea (no cream, no sugar, add milk) is 💯! Thanks for making the customized drink. Love the yellow leather sofas, great choice. Could do a better job at cleaning though.

Great spot! Good coffee, large variety. Nice selection of breakfast foods like sandwiches and french toast. Nice bakery items like cinnamon rolls and banana bread. Nice morning crowd. Happy and friendly service. And a convenient drive-through! Nice place, won't disappoint!

Nice cafe. I went here for a breakfast meeting and found it very nice. It reminded me of the nice cafes I used to visit when I lives in New England. I nice difference from the Starbucks and Caribous you find everywhere.

My wife and I stopped here to get lunch recently as I had eaten here before and it was pretty good. This time however not so much. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which tasted good but it could almost be considered vegan because there was so little chicken in it. I ordered the French dip and found the same thing to true, it tasted good but there were literally only 2 slices of meat on it. While I don't mind paying $10 for a sandwich I expected to have a decent amount of meat on it, like 8 oz or so but this wasn't even close it probably wasn't even 4 oz. We also got a "bowl" of cream of chicken wild rice soup which was okay, not real creamy or flavorful and was lukewarm. This so-called Bowl didn't even fill up the cup that she put it in when in fact it should fill a bowl since we did purchase a BOWL of soup. The amount of soup was not worth the five dollars it cost. Overall food quality good, but skimping on the meat and serving a wrap filled with lettuce and not much else was disappointing.

The service here is beyond slow!! They are clearly understaffed.
I had to ask if anyone was there because no one said hello in the drive thru. I got a malt and a shake for me and my son, which took over 10 minutes to get. They tasted like ice and that is it. I went inside to get them corrected and have now been waiting over 10 minutes for one of the staff members to even talk to me.
After waiting the person who made the malt and shake came up and I told her the issue. She did not say one word to me, looked annoyed by me. Took them, went and made new ones. Brought the new ones that were half full this time and again did not say a word to me. No apology, no thanks for waiting. Nothing!!
Oh and I have been here several times and I am finally fed up, it is beyond slow every single time I come here and the service is worse than horrible. This place needs to get it together if they want to stay in business!!
I will be calling management to demand a refund.
Just tried to call and their phone number is out of service. I am NOT happy whatsoever.
I will NEVER go back to this place again!
Side note. I have never written a review (good or bad) in my life. Felt it was necessary this time because I was so appalled…

Don’t get me wrong I love blackwater. I love the vibe & I love the food. Although for a small down coffee shop I just feel like the coffee isn’t anything special. They always ask me if I want whip and I say yes but it’s been 5 times now they don’t ever put whip on. I always get iced drink and they put a thin layer of ice and the bottom is very warm so it melts easily. I wish that they could even add
Chocolate/caramel syrup on the
Cup would even be nice or something worth picture taking if you know what I mean!!

What a cute little spot! I got an iced chai and a margarita flatbread, and they were delicious! The hours are limited right now, but their menu has lots of interesting things I’d love to try. The seating area is so darling and fall themed currently. Definitely will stop again to try other foods!
