Our family popped in for a late lunch this week. What a lovely surprise! Clean, pretty, friendly place! My burger patty was by far the best I have eaten in Mossel Bay. Having lived in Texas for a while I am very finicky about burgers!!! The chips and onion rings were excellent. The Nachos Platter impressed with fun flavours. The ribs were tender and tasty. My sons loved the waffles too. We can recommend 💯 %

By far the best burgers in town.
Update 31/12/2023; The new Pizza's are also very good. The best we had in Mossel Bay.

Excellent. Delicious food, appealing atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service. Price range is definitely fair & certainly good value for money, wine is available directly from the cellar, must confess they do have a very fine wine selection. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The spices and flavors were impressive. Ambient music from Mexico was set to compliment the food perfectly. The restaurant is suitable for families, children & large groups. I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.

Stayed in Mossel Bay for 2 nights and decided to eat at Blaize & Barrel on the first night. Had Fish & Chips and a Blaize Burger. The fish was light and crispy and very fresh. The hamburger was one of the best of my life and I can really recommend it. Topped it off with a Mississippi Mud Pie - simply delicious. In fact we went back the next night and had the same again. Highly recommended!!

Limited menu of Bar food. Burgers chicken strips and chili peppers.
Choice of chicken or beef burger.
Chips are the star of the show.
Service was friendly.

Very disappointing! Service took very long and the food was not worth it at all, they forgot to put an egg on my bun, it was dry and tasteless and the steak was over well done. After I asked for my egg they didn’t ask how I would like it. Will not recommend!

The service is terrible. We were about 4 tables in the whole place. Long waiting time. Bad waiters. All tables were disatisfied with something they ordered and the orders all wrong.
