We really enjoy going to Blue Bay!! It's one of the places our family of seven can go and actually get full without spending over $100. That being said it's not cheap but the food is worth it. I recently went there for a free Medicare for Boomers presentation. Prior to that, it had been years since I had eaten there because I hadn't cared for the food (I can't remember now what I ordered back then). This time, however, I was overall satisfied with my dinner: fried flounder / shrimp combo with baked potato and coleslaw. Plenty on the plate, so I left there full. This was our first time at the Blue Bay. We brought my in laws and we all left happy and satisfied. Service was friendly, kept the drinks fresh and always smiling. The food was hot, delicious and came out fairly quickly. Five of us ate for less than 100.00. For seafood that really can't be beat because I have been to places and paid nearly that much for two to eat. Definitely worth coming back again. I’m not the typical seafood person, but the food is delicious, although my shrimp could have been cooked longer it did not take away everything this restaurant has to offer! The staff was great, the decor was very pleasant. Overall a positive experience for me.

The food was great. We ordered a family meal for pickup and everything was hot & fresh. It came with a lot of food (pictures are what we had leftover) Service Take out Price per person $30–50

This place has gone downhill. Prices have went up $2 across the menu and the serving size is half what it was (see pic, this was $20 a plate). Used to not be able to see the plate with so much shrimp. In laws used to always share a plate, but not enough here to share with a kid. Quality is no longer there either. Husband also cut up his cheek on an oyster shell! I can see biting into a pearl BUT A SHELL! We were told they don't clean their food there, it's bought that way. Someone slacking somewhere. Ordered a baby flounder take out. If I had ordered in the restaurant I would have sent it back. It was fishey smelling, and dry. Baked potato was small, slaw was good. Good place to eat fish. Sometimes they don't fry oysters light as requested on our ticket. I don't like oysters fried hard. Good place for a group to eat together. No other complaints. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered the sea food platter added scallops. It came with side salad, a serving of hush puppies and for side I got fried okra. The fish was old, slimy and fishy. The Lemmon that was used was old and it tasted so bitter, I could not eat it. Scallops were the same way. The texture of the fish was like it was reconstituted, there was no flakiness or mouthfeel to it. The waitress were friendly. The did gave me a discount on my drink and scallops when I told them about the food. I would not recommend them and give them a one star for food.
