One of my fave place in the area. It’s so special the attention to detail is awesome. The food was delicious, the customer service spot on. The look and feel is interesting maybe eclectic, fancy. The chef is absolutely brilliant. To top it all off the kids can play outside and run around. The cherry on top is the waiters break out in kareoke and they really really good. The man’s selection of motorbikes are superior to any I’ve seen. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Montagu wine tasting experience- very friendly staff and great food and wine selection. Met the chef and team and saw the kitchen and grill - pretty impressive! There are Harley Davidson motorcycles to rent if that’s your style! The wine tasting room is possibly the most stunning ever! Cool spot but we left feeling it was lacking atmosphere - lots of beautiful outside spaces to relax and cocktail bars yet empty! Seemed it needed some management structure - difficult to pinpoint - we left feeling oddly disconcerted. Sadly the owner had recently died and we hope the venue finds its way through what must be a strange and difficult phase - we would definitely return if retracing our steps to Montagu Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Very fancy dining experience. On the pricier side, but the food is incredible. The white wines are amazing, I didn’t enjoy the red wines. The waiter was a bit touchy but offered good service. Hands down the BEST steak I've had in S. Africa. 500g Ribeye done to perfection. My fiance had the filet, perfectly cooked as well. All the staff was friendly and attentive. We got engaged earlier that day and they had champagne waiting for us, above and beyond. The appetizer and dessert were really good. Wow, wow, wow! Mother's Day Sunday lunch was fantastic with staff singing extremely well during the course of the lunch. Service at a measured past,vi.e. not rushed, and very friendly. The owner is on site and greets the guests. Interesting little boutique shop and a collection of fantastic motorcycles. All in all a unique experience enjoyed by all in our party if seven. An absolutely amazing experience. The reviews and pictures, while nice, don’t do it justice. You’ll feel like royalty from the moment you step inside. It needs first hand experience. Had the privilege of treating my friends and me to dinner and wine tasting at BlueVines District and I swear this place did not disappoint. The venue, the vibe, the atmosphere, the decorations, the food, the drinks, the wine, the staff, the music, the scenery. . . Everything about this place is *Chef’s Kiss*. The assignment was understood. The staff and owner were very welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care off throughout the dinner and tasting. It’s rather unfortunate that it rained this past weekend. So we couldn’t get much pictures outside. But that’s no problem, we’ll just have to come back another time and enjoy the experience all over again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Lovely place to discover. The owners motorbikes were parked out front on display caught my attention. The interior was absolutely stunning with a very unique bar and table chairs from vintage airplanes. Service was good. Owner was very welcoming. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Richard, the owner, is a man with a big heart. He hired unemployed musicians and an autistic man to work at his restaurant. He's giving back to the community in a big way and we request that you support his enterprise which includes a winery. There is a spectacular view of the mountains at the back of the restaurant and food is fabulous. I had a chick pea and mushroom burger with fries to die for. Try the sea bass.
