Found this gem through neat places.co.nz and it was worth the stroll from town. It was buzzing with people, situated on a sunny cnr. A gem of a cafe close to the Nelson CBD. Their healthy, magic, booster shot, hot beverage is a real treat. The bacon and egg roll was superb. Great staff that have a passion for what they do. Amazing service, we were well looked after by front of house staff. The food is delicious, large portions, fresh, well presented. Lots of light, great atmosphere, small-mid size cafe, only reason for four stars and not 5 was the place was PACKED and we couldn't hear each other. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch here, I had the hippie and husband had the bacon egg roll- perfect for the vegetarian/carnivore couple as fantastic food options for both. Golden chai was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful anniversary lunch team will recommend to all our guests and not sure how we never knew this existed before but happy to have discovered you finally!

Lots of interesting food and drink options - a cut above the usual. I had chai marsala, a spice bag served in a teapot with milk and honey to add. The vegan spiced cauliflower was delicious and my brother really enjoyed his huevos rancheros. The food looked great, tasted great, felt nutritious; can't ask for better than that!. Hard surfaces, so a little difficult to hear (brother is dead), but otherwise a really pleasant environment. Will be back on a weekday for bottomless filter and one of the enticing scones. Expensive coffee, which is a shame because this is somewhere I used to love going for morning coffee! $6 for a large coffee, including an iced latte which consists of half a glass of ice cubes. Otherwise, it's a nice place to sit with outdoor seating in the sun, though inside is usually pretty noisy and difficult to have a convo. Meal type Other Price per person $1–10

It is bad form to see a local business which has previously participated in credit card promotions, now surcharging 3% to use the same card! Consumer Affairs states "If you pay by credit card, you shouldn't generally be charged more than 2.5%. In many cases, you should be charged less than 2.5%. Retailers should not be profiting from surcharges" C'mon Bobby Franks, are you really saying that your menu pricing is not profitable..........or is this just an unethical method of extracing a few more cents from our pockets. The time has come for honest business ethics to be displayed. My last purchase did not leave a good taste in mouth. Service: 1
