Run, don't walk. This place is the epitome of sustainable and seed to plate, farm to table and all that jazz. They only make what they grow. Flavors of Denmark and Oaxaca combine in the perfect ensemble. Chef Rafa is a master of his art and also happens to be one the nicest people you will meet. The food is SO GOOD. The hospitality and vibe are second to none. Get the morning bun, the crossiants, the sourdough, the EVERYTHING! Definitely a must visit every day your in Oaxaca. This is my first google review ever and this bakery deserves it. 30 minutes after buying some pastries at this place I am still stunned about the taste, the visual appeal, the whole experience. I just wanted to get something sweet, walking distance from our Airbnb, I got an experience that I will not forget easily! Best bakery in town. Way better pastries and bread than Boulenc. Breakfast options are limited to two sandwiches, but are insanely tasty and good, with a vegetarion option as well. The sweet pastries are to die for. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Farm to table bakery. No. Literally. They harvest their own grain once a year and only use that throughout the entirety of the year. I’m that they can tell you exactly what grain is used for each batch of bread they serve you in the storefront on a daily basis ( there are limited quantities as they only use what they grow). What the land will yield is what they have for baking and don’t introduce any flour or grain they don’t grow themselves. The cream/butter is imported from New Zealand. It doesn’t suffice to say that everything here is exceptional! No need to go to San Francisco for the best sourdough it’s right here and made with the “masa madre”. I tried the bread which is shockingly delicious with whipped butter and flake salt. I also had the Danés (a strawberry, sake, and pepper) delight which comes prepared with flower petals, fresh cut 🍓, and delightful béchamel sauce. They use a syrup on most pastries after they are baked to crisp the outside. Making each piece soft inside with a flaky perfectly crunchy outside. The coffee is also very good. And finally the third dish I tried was the Budin a cardamom infused soft bread that is left to soak overnight and then toasted, then served with béchamel and lime. Delicate and balanced. Just lovely. The inspiration for this amazing spot comes from a Oaxacan owner and his partner who’s from Copenhagen (which if you’ve ever been is foodie central). Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Oxaca!

I wasn't a big baked goods person, but Bodeaega changed that for me. European croissants, and an array of delicious sweet things (that my partner loved). Very friendly staff (and owners) in a relaxed setting. Highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Croissant
Amazing pastries! Friendly service. I highly recommend. I ordered to go but wished I would have eaten in because it was difficult eating it in the car.

I must say this is one of the best bakeries I’ve tried, here in Mexico and even compared to the wonderful bakeries in San Francisco. Their croissant is so so good, flaky and not greasy or underwhelming. Very flavorful. Can’t wait to return!
The coffeeshop game is strong in Oaxaca, and this place is for sure one of the best in town! Do yourself a favor and go try it out!
I don't know how this place doesn't have more reviews. It was such a welcoming cafe with great coffee and fantastic bread. Everyone was so helpful and attentive answering our questions and offering suggestions. We highly recommend the chocolate croissant, morning bun and mocha coffee. We went a total of three times during our trip to Oaxaca and can't wait to go back! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
