We were seated quickly but the table is too crowded... we ordered our drinks and were served salad and soup. The soup had a layer of oil floating at the top of it. The salad was a mix of crisp and wilted lettuce. Our food was prepared in front of us. The appetizer shrimp had a strange metal taste. The chicken and steak were cooked nicely. The portion size is good, expect left overs. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

This restaurant is in bad need of updating and repair. Yes the food is good, but don’t wear shorts because almost all the seats are torn and dig into your legs. Also the bathrooms are comparable to a shady truck stop bathroom. I mean they are BAD! Including bad smells. You can tell they tried to repaint the bathroom but whoever did it, just didn’t give AF because there is overspray everywhere. They even have graffiti written in the color of the recent paint. I just don’t understand charging such high prices and then letting your restaurant get so dilapidated. It is definitely a turn off and makes one wonder what shape the kitchen is in. Good place for delicious hibachi. Tasty scallops. The food could have been hotter but the service was really good and they did take back and heat the food again on request. I haven't eaten here in over a year. It was very good last year. Maybe they had an off day, but the sauces weren't very good. I miss the old mustard sauce and the ginger sauce with noticable ginger in it. The flavor of the food was not as good. Staff were well knowledgeable about items available on the menu. They provided very professional, responsible, helpful, and friendly services. The owner/owners and supervisor/supervisors should be very proud to have them as part of a team at a great restaurant. It was a great experience. See you all soon! Excellent food and service. The sushi is the best in town. Update: Four years later, this is still a staple restaurant for us. The volcano roll is always a star attraction at our table. If you sit at a booth, be prepared for a hard wooden seat, otherwise a wonderful dining experience.

Employees where great food over priced. Normally for price gets some flash or a show..nothing, just watched our food get over cooked..Can not recommend a return visit.Watched others being served as well,same across the board..No frills cooking. So my 1/4 breast 8$ 6 shrimp 8$ rice with vegetables 8$,, by its self over priced,with showmanship of the past worth the entertainment.But bottom line,chicken dried out shrimps like thick rubber,so way past cooked.. Very unique. Had never been before. Our chef made the fried rice fresh right there. He even flicked small bites into people's mouths. Steak & chicken were great. The firey display was impressive. Kindvof expensive and they don't have any gluten free (GF) options except white rice. Everything is cooked with soy so not GF.
