The food and cocktails are amazing and also reasonably priced for the portion size. The service was great, it did start lacking a little bit when it got busy, but that is understandable. A true gem in the West Rand of Johannesburg and a local favourite. I always love visiting Bossa. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. The steak specialities are incredible and the food is always of the highest standard. Great job Bossa! Highly recommend giving Bossa a try. This place feels like your secret hideout where you stash all the good food and create memories with your friends and family. All the food tasted great and was presented very well, including the popular buffalo wings served in the pan that I ordered. Much more variety compared to some other restaurants, which is fantastic for our friends and family of different backgrounds. The staff are very patient and always available for assistance. All the cocktails are colourful and tasted delicious, and the beers on tap were chilled to perfection on what was a very hot day. Load shedding prevented the air conditioning from working for a few hours, but it definitely made the world of difference when it was on. Any sport you want to watch has its on TV that can be viewed from anywhere in the restaurant. Definitely a great place to hang out if you want to watch the game with your friends, or even to celebrate special occasions. We often dine at Bossa. Our last visit was Tuesday 9 Jan 24. The restaurant was very quiet, only a few couples dining. This was unusual as the place is usually very busy. Food and service was good. Bossa feels like a hidden secret … if you live near it you’ll have driven past it hundreds of times, and if you didn’t know it was there you’d just never find it. What a joy! Every dish is perfect, service is friendly, and the ambience is always buzzing. This is elevated “normal food”, and we desperately needed it. The food and ambiance was really nice 👌 but the cocktail 🍸 was very disappointing, it looked nothing like what was on the menu, had to ask the waiter to give me another grapefruit wedge because wow the one that was in my cocktail was not wedging I tell you 😢 She did not look pleased at all but I was not having it chile, it was either change the wedge or give me a drink that atleast resembles what on the menu. Best steak fillet, I have eaten for a long time. Has a huge bar and can get v.noisey. We did lunch so didnt bother me and after which we went for a walk in the gardens. We had steaks and burgers. 2nd visit sat outside area overlooking river-ordered pizzas, burgers and a wrap. Pizza very good, juicy, lots of filling with thin crust base. Burgers - juicy, meaty. I've been there many times for dinner.. Food is really great (especially their wings and chips!) Unfortunately, breakfast was a miss. The waitress did not take orders correctly and the food wasn't hot. It's a pity as it's not busy in the morning as opposed to evenings.. Also, they need to have waiters who are still in training accompanied by someone who knows what is happening.
