If you're looking for the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further than Brown Shuga Bakery.
I usually get cakes from other places but had heard so much about Brown Shuga, I was excited to try it.
I recently ordered their red velvet cake for my wife's birthday, and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing!
The cake was beautifully presented, with layers of rich, moist red velvet cake that practically melted in our mouths. The cream cheese frosting was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or overpowering, but with just the right amount of tanginess to complement the cake. The cake was also beautifully decorated with piped frosting and sprinkles, which added an extra touch of elegance to the presentation.
What really impressed me about Brown Shuga Bakery was their attention to detail and commitment to quality. Every aspect of the cake, from the texture of the cake layers to the flavor of the frosting, was just right. You can tell that they take pride in their work and truly care about making their customers happy.
The customer service was second to none. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy. I received a call that it was ready for pickup.

I bought four slices last Saturday for my husband & I. We’re finishing our final slice the following Friday. The cakes are moist & flavorful, icing was perfect. I got a lemon buttercream slice & the icing was so light and perfectly balanced with just enough lemon. The caramel was truly the best I’ve ever eaten; I’m not a caramel cake girl. My husband devoured the chocolate cake. My favorite was the German chocolate cake & the most perfect coconut pecan icing!! We’ve found ourselves a new favorite bakery!😋 # BrownShugaBabe

What an incredibly special bakery! Della goes out of her way to meet all our bakery needs! We are so happy to finally have a high caliber bakery in the Naperville-Bolingbrook area! The Caramel cake is INCREDIBLE & this chocolate cake is my children’s FAVORITE! I can’t wait for the next birthday to order a lemon cake - had to grab a slice to try! Della has slices of everything to take with you because it’s very hard to wait to cut into the big cake!

My Son brought home various delicious items cupcakes and a slice of chocolate cake. Last year for his siblings birthday gift. We are still talking about how good they were. We will be back soon for more. 😋 Good job.👍🏽

I was so impressed with this bakery. I ordered a custom cake and it exceeded my expectations. It was rich, moist and had real ingredients. Presentation was beautiful and the customer service was superb. Della was very patient with me not knowing what I wanted and she was very busy. My family is not easily impressed but the cake was a sucess.

Stopped by to grab some cookies today, which are one) absolutely delicious and two) so affordable! I also had to get one of these cute pound cakes that were decorated for Valentine's Day. Also tasted amazing! The staff who helped me were super nice and friendly. I'll be back!

Everything is good here! My brother had the butter, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin cookies at his wedding, and they were devoured. I just went back for more and got the brown sugar cookies this time. Sooo good!

My family and I have gotten 3 cakes from here now for birthdays and every time it has been such good cakes! I had the caramel cake for my birthday and I personally think it rivaled my great aunts recipe, maybe even better and my great aunts caramel cake is a crowd favorite in all my family! So do get your desserts here they know what they’re doing!

We used the app “Too Good to Go” and picked up our order on Saturday. There were 2 pieces of this Brownie-Cheesecake-Graham Cracker Crust pie slice deliciousness!!! It was outstanding. I love everything that I have bought there…from the banana pudding to the caramel cake. Great job to the Chef. Please go check him out and support our local small businesses!

Passed through and decided to stop. Delicious, delicious, delicious red velvet, I tell you. Moist and on point. Frosting was a cream cheese base, like red velvet is traditionally made with, and totally hit the spot. German chocolate, coconut and lemon were delicious as well. Wonderful customer service and I highly recommend!
