My wife and myself visit this extremely well organized and professional staff as regular monthly customers. Bravo! Job well done. This restaurant will continue to have our support. I'm always excited to share my wife's and myself experience at this wonderful restaurant. Once again, this cozy and very pleasing restaurant has satisfied our every request. The staff and chiefs are extremely experienced and well trained. The menu is well balanced, satisfying and within budget. Preparation to our meals were made without hesitation and completely delicious. It goes without mention that my wife and myself will continue to be loyal and devoted customers. Altogether, bravo! We ordered 2 salads and they were beautifully presented and also seasoned well. We also ordered oysters Rockefeller and those were so scrumptious. Unfortunately we weren't able to take those with us, but I'm not sure how far they would've went with us anyway. That's just how good they were. I would definitely go back if in the area and recommend this location to locals and visitors alike. The service was great, friendly and fast! My wife and I live in our truck. No. Not homeless. Just making a living. We delivered to a little place around the corner. While they were unloading me, I took a nap. My wife found Bubba Jax on the Google maps. Read the reviews. I love oysters. Any way I can get them, I’ll take them. Sometimes, you order them and they’re small or no flavor. You just never know, but we took a chance. Yup, we rolled the dice. I was taken back to a little three bedroom house with no AC and hardwood floors circa 1974. The only person that could EVER fry an oyster like these was my mother! I’m soon to be 55 this year. I thoughtI was having a spiritual moment. I was taken back to my childhood with each one. Bubba Jax, I come through here a few times a year heading to our home in Florida. If I have the time in my schedule, you can expect my wife and I and our little Bubba Puppy will be there!! All I can say is AMAZING! We had the fried green tomatoes and the thickness of the tomatoes were perfect, and we had the seafood platter and it was soooo good! The only thing I would improve is the hush puppies were a little over done! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

I ordered shrimp and potatoes with a sweet tea. Everything was delicious. There's something special about them potatoes. They were amazing! The tea was very very tasty. What a fantastic local restaurant with fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Places like this are the reason I use and support Google reviews. It would be very easy to drive right by and miss this gem - but thanks to the trusty “lunch near me” search I came across this one. We were greeted at the front door immediately and taken to an outdoor table in the porch. Very casual but polite vibe - everyone was extremely friendly. We ordered our food and it out in less than 10 minutes- hot and fresh. I was in the mood for shrimp so I got the fried shrimp plate, trying the fries and homemade house chips. The breading on the shrimp was light and they were cooked perfectly. The cocktail sauce was great as well. Same goes for the hush puppies - cooked perfectly and they had that slight sweet taste that I really enjoyed. Both the fries and the chips were great as well. This is classic good fresh food that isn’t fussed over - just cooked perfectly and very tasty.
