To start off the 2 hostess were not welcoming, no greeting. Left menu on table and no asking if we wanted something to drink. We were the first ones there. After we got there, 4 people walked in and immediately got served drinks. The staff were all on them. On top of that one lady had her freaking phone on speaker pacing back and forth very rude . Don’t want to hear that when I’m in a restaurant. When the waitress finally came to our table. I had to ask her about getting something to drink. To top it off, I asked who I believe was the the manager , what was the name of the restaurant and he told me “un Buen Rato” and I told him that we were having a “Mal Rato”. He asked me why and I told him about the obnoxious lady with the freaking phone on speaker and being loud on the phone. He apologized and told me that those were the parents of the owner! I said that I really don’t care who the hell they were! We walked out! Our drinks never came!! Very rude! Cambia el nombre a Un Mal Rato! Just saw this place open a week ago and stopped in last night for drinks. One of the bartenders, Jose, makes you feel so welcome and creates fantastic cocktails. He shared the menu with us and the highlights, we went back tonight for dinner and it was amazing, thanks to both Jose the bartender and Jose the waiter. The decor, the vibe, live music, and again the people make this place a must stop. We met the chef and the owner and everyone is so welcoming. We will definitely be back. Salud from Maunabo and our Chicago area roots.

I came across the place on my trip to yabucoa .I can't even put it into words how impressed I am. I've been here 3 times in the last two weeks .the food, the vibe , the people, the staff, the service and of course i can't leave out the air conditioning huge plus. This place lacks absolutely nothing.if you're in the area for a short stay or just passing through this place is a must. La comida estuvo sabrosa y el ambiente muy bueno. Le doy 3 estrellas porque la atención de las meseras no fue la mejor, lamentablemente están usando el celular constantemente (incluyendo a los varones) y no pendiente a las mesas.
