Every aspect of our meal was amazing. Loved that we weren't rushed through our courses. There was attention to detail in everything from place settings to house churned butter to ensuring our steaks were prepared to our desired temperatures. The table side prepared Caesar salad was a fun experience, leading to a very delicious and fresh salad. The overall experience and quality of the food justifies the price. Those pieces of bread tasted like they were burnt terribly. I asked the waitress what she thought and apparently, those pieces of bread are not burnt. So, if you like burnt bread, please do stop here. I was told the appetizer of the day was Brussel sprouts. The waitress brought it out with all my main dishes and said it was the side. But you told me it was the appetizer of the day? I ordered a manhattan and it was brought to me in a cocktail glass. I have eaten here before, but the experience was terrible this time. We visited Buffalo Block for the first time and we were absolutely impressed! I had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. It was so good I could taste almost every flavor of the seasoning and still taste the (locally-sourced) beef! The portions were on point. My husband had the bone-in (also locally-sourced) pork chop and it was HUGE! But still soft and juicy while being thoroughly cooked. The server was so gracious and attentive, even for as busy as she was. Overall, a great experience that must be repeated! Last night I celebrated my 40th birthday at BB, and had the most FANTASTIC experience. From the minute I walked in the door, I was treated exceptionally. Kelli was my server and she was SO nice and friendly, and helpful with her suggestions. She was the perfect amount of attentive. The rest of the staff was incredible as well! Many stopped to say happy birthday, and that they were glad I was celebrating with them. The most amazing thing was, the staff got me a birthday card and they all signed it. The kindness and warmth that they showed me will stick with me forever…oh, and OBVIOUSLY The food was AMAZING… my mouth is watering thinking of it. I absolutely cannot wait to go back! Super nice restaurant. Beautiful interior with a full bar. The staff was incredible. The food was quite pricey, but the level of service we experienced made it worth it! Fresh baked roll with a baked cheese top. Absolutely delicious way to start the meal. We had the half order shrimp cocktail and it was fantastic. A little more horseradish in the sauce would have been amazing. Both of us got the filet, perfect medium rare cook. The asparagus and fingerling potatoes were sensational. The lobster mac and cheese was incredible as well. The sauce was a little runny and collected on the bottom of the bowl, but dipping the noodles back in was fine. We ordered the Butter Aged New York Strip and received extremely tough steaks. All the items ordered were warm at best. The flavor was there on eveeything, however the quality was very lacking for the price point the have. The service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was great. Very classy, the chefs had great guidance, and the waitstaff we're very professional and courteous. The food was so good and my steak perfectly cooked. Expensive but the best steak house in Billings. The ambience is amazing, the steaks are top tier. The butter aged new york strip is a must get at $68. Sides are extra.
