We used to enjoy coming here for drinks and dinner as it’s close to home, food is good and the bartender is great, remembered my husband’s drink after meeting once and very friendly. However, the management today could use an in-depth course in customer service. I was spoken to as if I had broken the law when my husband forgot to ask for something specific on his food order and I approached the window to the kitchen to see if I could catch the cook before he started on the order. She was extremely rude and condescending. We spent almost $150 on our last visit here and have no problem paying for service and respect.
They’ve lost our business for good over this. I’m happy to drive to Wilmington for fantastic service and food that’s just as good…made the way we requested (because I’m happy to pay extra for special requests and there are plenty of restaurants that are happy to oblige!) I won’t tolerate being spoken to the way I was this evening. It’s a shame. Burgaw deserves better……and so do the people here.

Had lunch on a Sunday here. Clean, modern place and nice to be at. Service was friendly and prompt. Tried the chicken and waffles which was excellent and a more modern take on the dish and the right amount for me. If you’re super hungry you might want more. Happy they had the Salty Turtle Muddy Buddy stout. I’m always a fan of restaurants that don’t neglect to have stout on tap for stout lovers like me. I would absolutely go here again. Will do the shrimp and grits next time.

Reuniting with some friends and we had to go to Burgaw Brewing. I love the vibe here. We went for lunch before doing a little shopping. I had the Brewser Burger and a side of fries, which was absolutely delicious. I can never clean my whole plate, but I did that day. You should definitely go check this place out. I hear they have a really good Ruben.

We made an unexpected stop after hearing an ad on the radio. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, excellent food. Wide selection of beers. Beers are brewed in house and they have guest beers from other craft breweries. Seating is available inside (tables, high top tables and bar) and outside (sidewalk tables and private courtyard). Live music and special events are held here as well. The brewery is family friendly.
The brewery is a short drive off I-40.

I’m originally from this area and decided to meet a friend here to try it. The food was really good - the tater tots are everything!! The beer is really good too - I had the two IPAs. I would definitely come back.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch, and I was pleasantly pleased. I had amazing chicken wings and tater tots, and we tried the fried pickles, and everything was delicious. The staff was nice, and the homemade beer (blueberry) was outstanding. It is located in the heart of downtown Burgaw, and I would definitely come back.

Hidden gem on the way to the coast. Beautiful building, cozy, quaint but modern vibes and delicious food and beer. The ceasar salad with their special house smoked onions was fantastic! Burgers were A+. And they make their own tots which I highly recommend. I’ve never had anything quite like them. The festbier was on point, super clean and crushable. Lovely outdoor beer garden tucked between cool, old buildings. Put this on your list of places to visit in NC!

Jessica provided us with “Top Tier” service. Chelsey is not behind the bar I apologize in advance! The cocktail she provided definitely exceeded my expectations! You could taste the flavors.
I must say I had a pleasant experience when I walked in I didn’t have to touch the door and I was greeted. The entire staff made sure we felt welcome and I appreciate that!
The food also exceeded my expectations…just look at the images.
They definitely deserve more than 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Had a great time my first time visiting. Incredible atmosphere, and I loved the food and the drinks.
For a born and raised Carolinian, you just can’t beat the NC inspired menu like their Cheerwine flavored wings, and Cheerwine beer! Also absolutely love the unique and delicious tater tots that are like none I’ve ever tried.
Such an awesome and needed addition to Burgaw.
