Stopped to have a quick lunch with my son after getting our haircut! Service was fast and friendly and the place is very clean. The staff is courteous. Our food was hot and wasn't just thrown gather like a mess at majority of fast food places. Drive through rude employee on mic and was told to pull up while two other cars were already waiting. Some advice for the owners dismiss the employee working the drive through and give the lady who brought the food out a raise, she was the only good interaction. Whoever owns BK should be ashamed of themselves. The stores have a shoestring budget to operate, and the food has gotten terrible. Once upon a time BK was the superior burger chain, but it's being milked for every bit of profit before it goes belly up. Best Burger King I've ate at since being back in Louisiana for 5 years. The one in Gonzales is the worst. It has had new management a couple of times and service and food horrible, even when you wait for it it's not enjoyable. This place the burger was hot & juicy and when I took a bite the juice from the burger ran down my arm, Mmmm. Fries were hot, soda was mixed well. Not too sweet. Service was good. Young man was pleasant enough and was making orders but stopped and took our orders. 5 minutes and was enjoying our food. Most of the time you stop at a fast food place now, food is wrong or cold or slapped together topped with an attitude. You wouldn't figure on such a long review for Burger King but being the way things are now days, these young people deserve recognition for a job well done and enjoyable!!! I paid over $12 for a whopper with cheese meal. I got a burger that was sloppy and unmanageable, fries that were definitely hotlamped for quite some time, and the tea was sour as hell. Whoever owns this place should be concerned. Nobody there and still serving substandard food. I am and you should avoid this place. Terrible. Waited in drive thru for 20 mins speaker was broke finally drove to window where I was not greeted properly by a worker who’s looking crazy at me and making hurry up hand motion as I was telling him the speaker is broke couldn’t hear he was like well I was talking for 20 mins to u 🙄as I only ordered a drink due to his rudeness he’s like that’s it . Fills the cup he grabs it and drink pours over on his arms and hands he’s wrestling to put the lid on it and begins shaking his hands with drink flying everywhere.
