My only issue with Burger Time is the quality of the beef. It tasted just like the beef patties we had in my high school cafeteria. Definitely not fresh and likely processed. Fries were good and they were generous with the toppings. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

UPDATE: We stopped while in town to get some lunch. Burger Time didn’t disappoint! The burger was fresh, crunchy veggies, awesome bacon! My daughter enjoyed their chicken strips, too! We stopped here on our way back to Rapid City. We got chicken sandwiches and fries. They were so good! The only thing that we didn’t get was the honey mustard we ordered. The food was amazing and the employees were very kind! If we’re in the Sioux Falls area again, we will definitely go back!

In the age of trendy, healthy eating, efficient double-lane drive-throughs, shrinking portions, pay-extra-for-everything add-ons, it’s my pleasure to pilgrimage a couple times a year to Burger Time. You might end up sticking out in the street while you wait in line at the drive-through, or risk getting rained on while you sit outside eating, but you’ll never risk getting a downsized product or a flavorless, stripped-down burger! While other places claim that supply chain issues mean you can’t have tomatoes on your burger, this place dumps everything on your burger. Even the jalapeños are actually hot, plentiful, and good! The daily specials at most places includes a tiny side of french fries and a small soda, but not here. You’ll find the fry bag is full, and there’s a bunch that fell out at the bottom of the bag. It’s not for the faint of heart (or anyone with a heart condition), but it’s a great value for someone who just wants an old-fashioned, dirty, fast food burger, served up with a smile! We got two fries, a junior burger and a jalopeno burger. The fries were fresh and lightly crisp in the outside. I loved the toppings, just like DQ. My boyfriend loves the mushroom and Swiss burger too. The burger patty seemed overdone and a big tough but for the price I am okay with that. All our food came out to was $17 which is less than Burger King. My issue was that there was a long black hair in my burger which I ate half of, disgusting. The place looks a little run down. But the food that comes out of this place is a staple for Sioux Falls. My girlfriend craves this wonderful place and I have to say the chicken sandwich is bar none one of the best, The Bacon cheese is fantastic. Neat whole in the wall joint. We tried the Burger cheese curds and fried pickles. All were amazing. The fried pickles came in slivers and we're very tasty. You can't go wrong with cheese curds and the Burger was as expected. Definitely would go again.

Great lil hole in the wall burger joint, flavor and freshness are on par. Great price for the amount of food you get. The deep fried pickles are a must, perfectly breaded and flavor to boot. Definitely wish there was one locally. Will be stopping here from now on when on my way through.

So sorry to see this store close. Hope other one in town stays open. Great burgers every time at Burger Time.
