their drinks options are better than the food menu. There is fish just next to the restaurant and it just makes these whole place so serene and interesting. We had pizza , recommended by the waiter and it was really tasty . I love how their manager tries to ensure that everyone is having a good time. She pays attention to details and checks if everyone managed to do activities and suggests that they do after eating.

Great holiday for entire family! There is something to do for every family member. Game's room, putt putt , trampolines, hiking and biking trials. It can be a stay full of outdoor fun .
Accommodation was good, the lady at reception was amazing. Please note there is a gravel road on the drive so be wary of that.
The place is in general really good.
Thirsty Warthog on the other hand!! First things first, really beautiful setup. Please just don't expect service!!! You would swear they are doing you a favour. The staff is forever frowning and
a) they don't bring drinks to the table
b) when you do order at the bar, depending on their state of happiness, they will bring the drink or you fetch them.
c) you have to pay for the WIFI
Awesome place at waterberg lodge

Chicken Schnitzel
Went to the Bushbuck terrace twice, once for breakfast, once for dinner:
Breakfast - I had a 3 egg omelette with cheese and added bacon and mushrooms R95, my wife had the mince and scrambled egg on toast no extras R75 total bill with 1 x lepton ice tea 300ml and 1 x 300ml coke was R250 very exorbitant pricing, but tasted good
Dinner - I ordered the Waterberger burger a beef burger (which according to their advertising should be banging)@ R95, my wife ordered the chicken Schnitzel with salad @R85 and each had a non alcoholic beverage total was R290...
The 'Banging Burger' cannot even be classified as an above average burger, I have had better burgers costing only R15 at the spar deli, bun was overly toasted and dry, 150gr beef patty was a over done patty that tasted of soy mince, all this is drowned in sauce in my oppinion this burger should be sold for around R25 maybe an extra R8 for the chips which would give a total of around R30.
The wife's Schnitzel was not a Schnitzel, it was a few pieces of chicken fillet that were thrown together in a similar batter that fried onion rings are battered in, in was oily and unpalatable, we also had to eat in the dark as there was a problem with the generator and not a candle available for the two tables of two patrons each? We asked to speak to a manager and were told that there was no manager on duty at 18h00 on a Wednesday night? Very poor quality regardless of the price, unacceptable for the price!
My suggestion to anyone wanting or planning to have dinner at the Bushbuck terrace - Don't, just Don't! The units are self catering and thus you can bring your own food, there are fully equipped kitchens and each unit has a braai area, save yourself a lot of heartache and rather bring everything you need from home. The shop on premises is overly priced as well, so even bring your charcoal or wood for the fire with...
Service friendly but very slow. "Old fashioned fish and chips" - a disaster! (Thanks to Park management for compensating.)No place mats or table cloth. Basket was perfect, though "basket" was cracked. Very very expensive.
Preparation of the pizza was decent, but the flavour and taste was unfortunate to say non existent.
Based that this is the only restaurant for 45mins in almost every direction, its disappointing....
The service and food at this restaurant is really bad. I did speak to the manager and promises where made it will get back up to spec soon but our experience was really bad. Badly over cooked food and everything tasted like fish
