The service was excellent and the place is very visually pleasing with nice music. The dishes were great and I loved how many of them had tapioca. My favorites were the bean fritters and the tapioca crepes. It’s a 4 for me because the the drink was quite small, and I was not a fan of the pineapple dessert. I also wish we had ordered the small açaí dish, as the taste is great but can be overwhelming.

We ordered the "sharing experience" and everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and professional. There was live music too, which made an even better dinner experience. A bit pricy, not gonna lie, but cheaper than flying to Brazil haha (and it's also on the same level of price of most of the restaurants in Gothenburg). So I think it's worth a visit :)

If you agree on the fact that service is just as important as the food when you dine out, it’d be impossible to walk out of this place without a smile on your lips. Welcoming, attentive, personal, and very refreshing with a place where the music doesn’t overpower the conversations.
Oh, and how about the food you might wonder? Definitely a nice addition of different exciting flavors to what Göteborg already has on offer. Loved the tapioca crepe (if you’ve been to Carbon, you might recognise this one), the grilled shrimps, and the oyster ceviche. But what Buteco truly does really well is meat. Please don’t leave this place without ordering the Picanha. Then have some churros. And drink anything Michael John tells you too. Truly love and trust the passionate and enthusiastic people that work here. Thank you team for another great evening!

As Brasilians that live in Ireland, this gatro bar was an delighted surprise in our stay in Göteborg, you will find here traditional brazilian flavours with a "twist" (as they told us) so you can have a different experience as you would in Brazil with the same dishes since most of them are part of our daily cuisine. Everything was delicious, but the fried pão de queijo, tapioca and the bolinho de bacalhau were ours favorite!! The clarified caipirinha is also a great pick, very different than the original tough but nice and refreshing.
I would like to thank the Chef Jean that came to talk to us and also congratulate him for his wonderful job, the whole staff really, thank you for a great evening at the BUTECO.

Great food and excellent service. The restaurant is open and has a really nice interior.
I think that the quality is reflected in the price and well worth a visit again. The cocktails looks good and tastes good, they are however on the small side in my opinion. The collaboration beer, or "their" beer is surprising good and should be tried.

I recently visited Buteco and had an amazing experience. The Latin American cuisine is outstanding and the concept of small plates and cold "chopp" is unique and fun. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks complement the food perfectly. I highly recommend Buteco for a great dining experience!

Really, really enjoyed our visit to Buteco. We opted for the set menu with multiple dishes per course. Really good value for money, and definitely a great option if you don't know what to try and happy to jump into new tastes! Our waiters were awesome, really knowledgeable and checked in on us. Drinks were great too!

Arrived a bit early, got someone to store my jacket and bag. Much appreciated.
The locale is much more trendy than it used to be, it also is more of a south-american mix nowadays. We really enjoyed it.
Table was nice and there is also a few bathrooms, while it was in need of some cleaning, you could notice that it was very well kept otherwise.
Service was attentive, knowledgeable about the food and social.
Food was delicious and brought back good memories.
Price class is high end.
Located near Svingeln and Centralstationen, easy to access.
