Great location and amazing staff. I left my phone behind in the room by accident. The staff were so nice. The girl working there found me on Instagram and arranged someone to drop it out to me while i was waiting to board the ferry. So grateful to her and her oss who was the man who dropped it out to me at speed.

They literally told us they haven’t cleaned it/it’s not maintained. Then the guy took his shirt off to wipe the dust down in our room. No toilet seat, brown water in the shower. Not good

With only a little effort they could make the place way more comfortable, but now the only thing I wanted to do there was to get out. The atmosphere is dirty looking and plain and the room was really boring and basic but on the other hand, what could I expect with such a cheap price. On Friday nights the place is a whole different place and full of people dancing and partying for live music! So I would recommend staying elsewhere but definitely going to their parties!

I visited for the Friday evening and it was a very fun night. Drinks flowed from the bar, plenty of seats available if you ask the staff. Good range of music mostly ballads from the live band turning more to dance as the night progressed.

Nice and cheap place, it’s a not luxury hotel, but very cute, there weretwo double beds, bathroom, balcony, tables, wardrobe and shelves in our room, the lobby is airy and spacious, food is served from 8a.m. till 8-9 p.m., but there are some other shops, bars and restaurants near Czar’s place working till late at night

Before we went to Siquijor, we tried to contact some hostels and inns but got no response. So, when we arrived there, we were still clueless on where to go. However, we were lucky to have really good recommendations from tricycle drivers. And yes, Czar's Place was one of the places they told us about. It was budget-friendly, according to them.||||It was true! In fact, this place is perfect for groups of travelers who have budget constraints. Apart from having affordable rates, it is also located in San Juan, which is surrounded by lots of great attractions. (But of course, Siquijor has a lot to offer, so I still recommend that you go around the island, especially if you know how to ride a motorbike.)||||It has polite and friendly staff. In fact, we were able to have small talks with the woman at the front desk. She also gave us tips on where to go. It was also through her that we found out that we could actually rent motorbikes so we could move around the island more easily and without having to spend a lot.||||There was Wi-Fi in the place when we stayed there. However, we had to go out of our room to get a faster and more reliable connection.

The hostel is basic and not very beautiful it need some works some but it s cheap and very near to other attractions. The best is the party they do on Fridays evening. Full of people that lives in the island and tourist. The place to be.

Head out on a Friday night and you'll be at a party full of locals and travelers! They have live music, average priced beer, and tables to rent. A table and 4 chairs is 50 PHP. This is a great place to meet people and dance if that's your thing

Great budget accomodation and value for money! Also, we loved the staff too, the 2 girls n young lads in there were brilliant and helped us with loads of things from bike hire to directions and good places to go on the island. We were there for 4 days n stayed for nearly 2 weeks?! Friday at czars is a quality night! All the locals from the island go there, there's a really good live band and its great fun buzzing with the unbelievably friendly, locals. |It's in the great location also, I highly recommend staying here but of course be well aware, this isn't a 5 star resort before you arrive. It's a great value budget accomodation

We went there 'cause we asked to the tricicle driver if he knew some cheap place to stay and he drived us there. At the very beginin it seemed a clean place. They have no double beds, but we stayed anyway because of the price. The first night it was hard to sleep 'cause there was people shouting on the corridors at 1 am for a long time. The staff was doing nothing. The second night it was friday... since 4 at the afternoon it was very noisy til 2 am. We didn't know about the party on fridays... later we saw the other reviews telling not to stay there on fridays... too late.
