Very nice local café to drop by before visiting the José do Canto garden just around the corner. The owner is friendly and helpful. We had a coffee and some lovely custard tarts below the passion fruit vines in the garden. The toilet could be a bit more inviting, though.

Excellent cafe and good pastry served by a sincerely friendly human. Wish I found it earlier in my stay. It would have been a daily go to.
