Visited 'Elgrotte' in Monastir near the sea and had a wonderful experience. The scenic location added to the charm. Nice place, beautiful view over the sea. Relaxing and unique location. It has an outside and inside tables. The only bad thing is the food, I had lunch there and definitely could be better especially with the prices they charge. Worth trying...

English tourists adventuring out for something different than all inclusive food. What a gem we found. Pizzas, milkshakes and chips were delicious. great portion sizes. We requested a taxi and while we waited we were entertained by a magician! definitely recommend and would return. Negative sides: -we ordered two types of Pasta, the "Bianaca" one with white sauce and chicken was awful, it was tasteless. -The soup was also very watery and didn't taste good. Positive sides: -The rest of the dishes was good, especially the prawn pasta. -We enjoyed the place it looks different and clean. -The waiters are also nice. Price ~ 17, 18 tnd in average for each meal

Despite the good view of this place, the experience was really bad. Some plates were not clean, the chairs inside as well. Food was just a waste of a lot of money, servers were not welcoming, you get the vibe of a middle school dining room. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I wouldn't really recommend. Service is extremely long. Took them more than a full hour to bring us a chicken crêpe. Tacos was not even tasty. 2 stars for the view which is the only advantage.
