I absolutely LOVE Cafe Kindred!! Their poutine dishes always satisfy my breakfast and brunch cravings. They are also incredibly kind and attentive to notes from their customers. I marked an order gluten free and they called specifically to see if I needed to make any adjustments. Thank you, Cafe Kindred!! Ordered the curry poutine, wife ordered the original. Hers was excellent, while the curry poutine was extremely watery and soupy. Water logged fries. That being said, her food was good and the service was excellent so I'll chalk it up to a fluke. The baked goods looked excellent, I'll have to try some next time. Great spot- loved the service and atmosphere. Ordered a cappuccino and the egg and veggie skillet- my eggs tasted and smelled a bit weird. It was very off-putting, otherwise I'd have given them 5 stars. Not sure what happened there. My husband had their croissant breakfast sandwich and it looked amazing- should've had that instead. It was very busy when we went so it took a while to get coffee but the staff is awesome.
