Best Mexican breakfast in the aldea zama region. Don't be fooled by the other overpriced spots. First off let me start by saying you can actually get a real cup of coffee here as they do pour over coffee via a chemex. No more nasty Americanos. The chialaquiles red, huevos rancheros(rancheros eggs) best i have had and the huevos ahogados are all excellent! Been here a few times and will continue to come back. The atmosphere inside is quite unique. Staff is friendly but they are not the quickest but that is a minor issue for me. To start place is absolutely gorgeous !! Lovely vibe ,unique ceiling ( must see) . Exceptional service and delicious food ! I highly recommend visiting when in Tulum . Rather average cold brew, but the space was worth it. The ceiling was incredible to look at and I love that they carried the theme all the way to the bathroom. Was not too busy on a weekend morning with plenty of open seating, though ordering to go seemed a little more out of the ordinary there. This was our first stop during our trip to Tulum and we were not disappointed. The food is delicious but the service is beyond great. I ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes and a Cafe de Olla. We had such a good experience we came back the next day again before heading off to our resort. One of the best cafes in Tulum. Located in the Aldea Zama neighborhood. The attention to details in that place is just outstanding. The food is so tasteful and fresh that is almost impossible to leave something in the plate. Try the acai fruit bowl and the egg croissant and you can thank me later. Love this space for breakfast. We go early every morning and the staff are so nice. The Mexican coffee is really tasty - orange and cinnamon. The avocado and salmon toast are our favourites but the fruit and acai bowls are great on the side, the fruit is so fresh. Mayaxel is a MUST go destination if you're in Tulum. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is extraordinary and friendly, and prices are very accessible, despite the high quality of the products they use and produce. The aesthetic is astonishing and there's no place around that can compete with it. I've come to Tulum many times, and this is one of my top destinations to have breakfast or brunch.
