Let's start with the positive things about this cafe. It looked clean, tidy, and organised. The seatings were adequate and not too close to other tables. The staff were friendly and quick to respond.
Now food. The presentation, the colours of the food were fantastic. They looked super delicious. But when it's the taste part, it's actually not. The masak lemak cili api on its own was okay. It was creamy and not spicy at all. But when it was cooked with udang galah in it, the kuah tasted weird. The udang galah were soggy and squishy. They were most definitely not fresh.
And we also asked for specific food to be spicy or crispy. Unfortunately, the food was not prepared according to our request.
The tom yam was sweet. The fried chicken was okay, but the fried talapia was soggy. The somtam itself didn't have any crunch to it. It was soggy. We were looking for salted fish taste from the kailan ikan masin, but we didn't find any. The ikan masin taste was too mild. And the cendawan goreng lacked flavours.
The only 3 items that we love from the things that we ordered were the Iced Yam 3L, the daging harimau menangis, and the complimentary budu. The yam drink was good and satisfying. The daging harimau menangis was flavourful and tender but a bit gamey for my liking. The budu was superb.
I don't think my friends and I will return to this establishment in the future.

Clean area make it convenient to you dine in. Food are good with reasonable price. Some menu come with big portion which you can share for two people. If you are searching for simple, home n comfy food. This is the right place to go. Do request less spicy if you're not spicy lover.

Came here for a lunch. Their sambal is so great. I might get an extra portion of it on my next visit. The air is warm during the afternoon. The Keladi 3 layers tastes very nice.
Lovely foods especially the famous Nasi Arab and kerabu mangga. A must try menu. Good price, good taste.
