What an amazing place to go for dinner. The hostess was welcoming, and she is not only going to serve you, but she is going to spend time explaining the menu, and treating you like the most important guest. The food was incredible and you can tell homemade. HIGHLY recommend going here for a wonderful time. I can't wait to go again. So, I'm still sitting at the table totally stuffed and happy. Catherine took care of us from the moment we stepped in, guiding us through the menu. Everything was delightful, the veal tanjine, and coconut baklava, but I can't sing the praises of the koshari enough. The ultimate comfort food, and lovingly prepared. Catherine is doing this all on her own, chef, owner, server. She's absolutely amazing. Go and enjoy the authentic, comforting experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was the best meal I had in 30 days in Caldas. Not a meat and fries place. Plenty of Mediterranean flavors with a helpful hostess. And the free desert (coconut baklava) served with a pot of green tea was a great finish. Best qyality Egyptian food in Portugal & probably in Europe! As Egyptian who lived in France for 20 years, I was craving for some Egyptian recipes as my mother used to do & after all that time, I was lucky to come across this restaurant page on FB !! I couldn't beleive it until I called and Catherine, the owner & chef, assured me that everything is fresh & home made! Perfectly splendid. From the starters to the dessert, we couldn't find anything we didn't like. The food was well seasoned, carefully prepared and in generous portions. We also loved the coconut baklava. The service was also delightful, would strongly recommend. wonderfully prepared Egyptian food accompanied by familial memories. Lots of delicious whole foods vegan and vegetarian options. The rice and vegan moussaka is to die for (I ate two plates of it), falafel and three dips, minced veal in airy filo pastry, cabbage rolls were all very flavourful. Get the tamarind drink! We had to stop ourselves from ordering the whole menu. Ended with Egyptian Coffee and coconut baklava. This was the wholesome dinner we didn't know we needed! Wow, I had the best experience ever at this restaurant! The owner was so kind and helpful, it made our meal even more enjoyable. We ordered several main dishes and they were absolutely awesome. I drove 25 minutes from my hotel to have a nice dinner, unfortunately we didn’t like any dishes we ordered. Many of items were not available- Soup and grilled fish etc..) so we ordered deep fried chickpeas.. it was dry,dips were okay, nothing special. Bread was supermarket quality. Beef skewers were thick,very chewy. Very different presentation than photo on google review. We had a bottle of water to drink. Dips and two dishes were 42.80 Euros. Everything was pretty expensive for what they were. Perhaps my expectations were too high? Sorry but we really didn’t enjoy it. 아까운 저녁 한끼를 날림… 내가 가자고 졸라서 갔는데 계속 먹는내내 사과했음 .. 포루투갈 2주 여행했는데 가장 별로… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–45
