So glad we found this gem, it’s by far the best restaurant in Ahangama - in a magical location with very delicious food! The restaurant is a true oasis of calm, tucked away on its own private beach. All the dishes we tried were a tasty and fresh - we loved the fish tacos, tuna noodle salad and the chicken burger. Great service from the very friendly staff. A fab place to stay all day and lounge, swim, eat, drink. Also great for sunset cocktails

Hesitant to leave low star rating as the place is beautiful, what a hidden gem with its own private beach, clean, sandy so you can dip and come back to the lounge area to chill.
The reason for my low stars rating is the food and service. First of all, food is disappointing.. the menu selection is not bad but the food came out dry, tasteless, portion is sometimes funny compared to what you pay. I ordered different dishes, friends agree taste should be improved. Overcooked noodles, dry salad, overcooked tuna, overpriced smoothies for what you get (almost 3k for a watery smoothie?)
Service is okay, staff is friendly but not attentive. You order, pay, they serve your food, ciao.

Ordered the fish tacos last night. I mean, it said fish on the menu. I could not tell what it was. Tiny pieces of crunchy dark brown bits of something - and very little of it! Taco filled out with loads of red cabbage. Absolute rip off for nearly 3000 rupees. So disappointing. No comment from the staff when I complained just shrugs.
Despite the number of staff behind the counter, nobody acknowledges you and you're left trying to get eye contact with someone who might engage.

The burger was ok but nothing special. Gluten-free options available, talk to the staff. If you get a spot towards the water, it’s a nice view. Tons of flies unfortunately during our dinner.

Nice location. Good food. Restaurant was half empty and it took 45min to get breakfast, 1hr to get a coffee and juice despite asking multiple times. Owner needs to hire more staff or train them.

Beautiful place and chilled vibe just by the ocean. I had a yummy breakfast and worked on my computer with good internet while enjoying the sea breeze. A very nice overall atmosphere.
I love that they have gluten-free options. Definitely recommend.

Amazing property, where you can easily watch the sunset or go for a swim in the ocean. The Coronation Chicken Sandwich is to die for!

Really nice place to enjoy sunset. The food was really good. The tuna was amazing but the rice noodles a bad combination but anyway, it was a nice food + sunset experience 👍
A little piece of laid-back heaven! Absolutely dreamy view, Canteen overlooks a beautiful bay where you can both swim and surf (amazing and unusual to have both!) The menu here is fresh and tasty, the food is a lovely combo of Sri Lankan and international influences. Relaxed and homely as well as stylish environment. Tasty and yummy. Great for all ages, something for everyone. Also love the Sunday sunset music sessions in the afternoon/eve.

A little piece of paradise you might say. Beautiful spot for sunset- or well, your morning coffee, a mid-day swim. A all day hang out.. The yoga space is beautiful, maybe with the best view you’ll tet over the coastline. The food is good, and the staff is beutiful. A must-try while in the area.
