A lovely oasis for breakfast. Lots of options, fresh pastries. One day she even had a vegan cinnamon roll! (I can't eat eggs, so I rarely get to enjoy them). Good coffee drinks. Friendly and good service, very clean place with nice bathrooms.

Absolutely delicious, and 100% authentic food. The staff and cooks here are so kind and welcoming. Everything was just so flavorful and fresh. If you are in Zihuatanejo this is a must place to try for breakfast/lunch. Pricing is very reasonable as well.
I highly recommend the chilaquiles, huevos con chorizo, enchiladas, café de olla and all of their juices (pressed in house).

HAVE BREAKFAST HERE!! BEST BREAKFAST IN ZIHUATANEJO! This place deserves every star and more. They have the most coffee options, American coffee, cafe de olla (the best option!), latte, espresso, cappuccino, iced options. You cannot go wrong. Add a piece of their own baked pan dulce. The Roll Coqueto (cinnamon roll) is the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Next the entrees. Pick a specialty item. The huevos motuleños is the best breakfast item I’ve ever tried in and out of Mexico. Layers of tortilla, chorizo, eggs,plantains, avocado, all covered in a delicious salsa. The flavors mix together to create a fiesta in your mouth. We even came back for this dish the following morning. The service is also excellent. They are so attentive and so kind. Based on how they helped the English speaking tables nearby you’ll be in good hands if you don’t know español. The abundance of fans also keeps you cool as you enjoy your meal. Come visit! Excellent cafe. The owner is so sweet and accommodating. Please note that this is a cash only business, so plan accordingly. Food is great and the ambience is so cute. It's located off a busy street but with the way they have the plants all around you - you would never know. We came here five years ago and again two weeks ago and the food and service is still as excellent as it was the first time. A must visit when you are in Zihaut!

1,000% must go! I could not tell you what was better, the food or the service! All on a whole another level. And for those of you who are foodies, not only is this restaurant in top 250 in the entire Mexico but also a personal favorite of Rick Bayless. If that tell you nothing, then just trust me - go! If this restaurant opened where we live, we would be there daily for sure!

Wow, what amazing food! The coffee is spectacular and very popular. I would also recommend their green juice, I have never drank something so delicious! Pancakes are wonderfully fluffy, my huevos molena was delicious, but honestly everything seemed great.

Carmelita’s is the best. Their tortillas are made fresh and are so delicious and chewy. I cannot stop eating them.
We had the breakfast special with the steak and eggs and the pork ribs, the chilaquiles, enchiladas suizas and i cant remember what else. The fresh roasted coffee is amazing with a thick layer of crema on top. I have had their fresh juices also and the green one is delightful on a hot morning. They have beautiful pastries. Service is always excellent and its clean.

Had a great breakfast here as a family!
Although it’s very hot the fans def help out a lot! The staff are all extremely kind and friendly. We all had something different and every dish was tasty 🙌🏻 will try to come back again before we leave!
