Great venue in downtown Spartanburg. Large, quality wine selection at very fair prices. The owner (Tony) is very knowledgeable and quite engaging. Indoor and outdoor seating to sip your favorite glass in a very relaxing environment.

Carriage House is the best place to buy and try wine. Tony is so knowledgeable and help you select the perfect wine for any occasion. He has a very large inventory and can accommodate everyone's tastes. If you want to drink a glass of wine, he has comfortable seating and nice house wines by the glass. Will always go back!!

Carriage House Wines is exactly the kind of wine store we all need: excellent wines and good prices without all the pomp and fluff that can attend some shops. Tony knows wine as well as any and is happy to point customers, whether new or old, to selections that fit their preferences. He's a gem, and his shop deserves your patronage.

They have a terrific wine selection. And we enjoyed being able to sit at a table, drink beverages and chat. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful!

I'll never find another wine bar/store like this one. Tony is a true wine expert and will take the time to get to know you and your taste. The bar is a great place to unwind after work and meet great people. Become a regular and you'll make a friend for life. You'll also have a great place to find great wines not found in the grocery store while learning a ton about wine. Not to mention the frequent tastings they have year round.

This place is great! The selection of wines is very diverse, and caters to both modest and generous budgets. They offer tastings and good advice on pairings. I especially appreciated how clearly and simply he explained his reasoning behind his choices, and he was very happy to answer my wine noob questions.

An excellent wine bar and wine retailer. The owner, Tony Forest, knows his wine and has made many recommendations based on what I want in a good wine; and what to pair with specific food. I have recommended many people to visit CHW, particularly if they are not sure what they want in a wine. It is an education with every trip and a great environment to sit and enjoy a good wine at affordable prices with friends. We are fortunate to have CHW in Spartanburg.
