I usually don’t care for Carusos because of the lack of flavor. But I was meeting some clients, and this is where they wanted to meet. My experience was pleasant. This one in Coeur d’Alene is a little smaller than the one in Spokane but very convenient right of of I90. I had the club sandwich and it was decent. I am a HUGE sandwich person and this place made me love sandwiches much more! My wife and I had the Caruso Club and it was phenomenal!! It made me love sandwiches that much more. The bread, which is sourdough, had just the correct texture and was not dry at all. The veggies had the correct freshness and the meats were so mouth watering savory. I really recommend the Caruso Club. They also serve soups, salads, pizza, and wraps if not in the mood for a sandwich. An amazing variety across the menu board. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the establishment was clean and organized. A great price as well especially knowing how much everything cost now days. Caruso's is a go-to. Consistently yummy and satisfying. They have excellent customer service and an exceptionally friendly and helpful service team. Their ingredients are super fresh and quality - you can taste it. I also love that they have Stubborn Soda at their fountain. Delicious brand that uses fair trade sugar. 100% support for that! Two reasons I didn't give all 5 stars: the menu runs quite a bit on the pricy side. And, I recently ordered one of their rotating soups - Broccoli Cheddar- and it was quite thin, almost watery in texture. Not the fullest flavor either. Disappointing. In my opinion, broccoli cheddar should always be rich, thick and creamy. I'm not sure if this is just their recipe or the batch that was made that day. Thankful customer. Will return. Fraud, regarding the size of my purchased sandwich! Says, Italian Stallion is 8" I took a picture showing 6"!!! That's not right to keep me as a customer. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty my Club sandwich was. Bread was fresh and soft, service was quick. I wish the cold cuts were a little higher quality but overall I satisfied. I will be back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

The food was absolutely great. My wife and I split a Cajon chicken pizza and a Caruso's medetranian salad. We couldn't finish the food and it was delicious. The tables were not cleaned off, and we cleaned our own table. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our order. Highly recommend this place. Every time I've come here I ask myself why I haven't visited more frequently! This is definitely one of the best lunch places around if you want a full meal. I've tried a few sandwiches and bowls which all were fantastic. The chicken pesto pasta was amazing and portion sizes are big! They offer soups, salads, pasta, pizza, and of course sandwiches. Great beer on tap as well if you're feeling that.

I have been craving a good French dip for days, and was even disappointed with others In the area... their french dip is amazing! So good 👍 and the butternut squash soup was even better! Maybe I chose the wrong pizza for my first time there - it just left me feeling... meh. Not disappointed. Not happy. The Chipotle (name in flavor only - no heat to it) sauce they put on the pizza just masked most of the flavors. And what I did taste (in looking at you, meatballs) was average at best.
