A lovely Cafe positioned under the Nitra castle. They serve food, drinks, deserts. Great views of Nitra city A lovely place, good music & nice lighting. Pleasant service, very helpful. Recommend you call to reserve your table, esp in winter months. There’s outdoor seating in the summer. Visited again in Feb 2024. Still great atmosphere. The starter made from duck and duck fat was okay. The apricots served with it added a different taste. The chicken soup was delicious. The main course including duck and chicken was also perfect. The sauce coming with it was also a good company. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ambience of the restaurant was cosy and comfortable. The café is very near the castle. Attention to the detail, exceptional both food and the service that made our afternoon unforgettable. Plus a view overlooking lovely town of Nitra. Pay them a visit and you won’t be disappointed. Great food, with healthy touch. Thumbs up to the chefs. Great wine too. Very sweet waiters/waitresses. Also, lovely location under the castle with a view on Nitra Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20

Ideal place for lunch, coffe, date...whatever :) High level meals but soup "Boršč" with crispy bread & adds - jalapenio (be carefull ;)) & olive oil are INCREDIBLE... Very nice place based near castle with awesome panorama. Service is professional and restaurant look's clean and tidy. Must visit in Nitra ! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Read the reviews for this restaurant. Indeed, probably it is very good restaurant with very wonderful views that open from this mountain. However, the service in this restaurant disappointed us. We were four adults and a baby sleeping in a stroller. We ordered desserts, lemonade, tea and coffee. Desserts came quickly. Then it started to rain a little. There were 4 umbrellas on the terrace, 2 of them were open and two were folded, we asked to open the umbrella above us. We were refused, referring to the fact that these umbrellas from the sun, and not from the rain, and other people were under the same umbrellas, hiding from the rain. We ate desserts in the rain, but we didn't get tea and lemonade. It took about 25-30 minutes. We were forced to leave money on the table just for desserts and leave, since the waiters did not come to us anymore.

I had a Really good time here in the restaurant. It looks like a Cafè but the main dishes are amazing. The tomato soup not as good as I thought, but the mec sapači amazing. Depending on the year season, the sun on the terrace lasts till 15:25(October/winter) or 18:30 on summer. Very friendly staff. Toilets really clean and some books for children enjoy. Look at the pictures! Come and visit sometime! Frat views of the city

Favorite restaurant during my trip in Slovakia. Highly recommend a visit! Nice food, service and atmosphere!
