We have ordered pizza from Cat Scratch several times since the beginning of the year. When they were at Voo Doo hut, the pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious. Since they moved to the Monkey Bar, it is absolutely disgusting. The last 3 pizzas that we have ordered from them have been burned, and the crust is impossible to eat. The middle of the pizza is chewy at best and tough at worst. It's just plain gross. I don't know why it became so bad after changing locations, but I won't be spending my money there until they get their act together. I have included a pic of some of what we received. Our staff ate what they could as it was paid for by our company, but a lot went in the trash. Waste of money!

The seating is outdoors under a large tiki hut. The Rueben corn beef sandwich and Russian dressing is excellent! The wife loved a bucket of crawfish with potatoes and corn on the cob. Great live music
Cat Scratch Kitchen is a half outdoor half indoor kitchen/bar (in combination with Voodoo Hut) on the south side of the Kemah Boardwalk. The atmosphere, decent menu, and quality cocktails makes it easy to recommend.
The food itself is above average for bar food. While nothing stands out as amazing, there are some unique selections like crawfish Mac and cheese balls or habanero mozzarella sticks.
One of the best reasons to visit is the outdoor patio area. There is plenty of space away from the noise if want a quiet place to relax and talk. There are games like pool and cornhole as well.

Great fresh food, very reasonable pricess, ample portions, wonderful indoor space with live music as well as outdoor seating & patio games (fun lights, heat lamps, great vibe). The additional outside kitchen made the air smell sooo good. They really put a lot of thought into everything! Beautiful sunset view over the boats too!
Ashley & Alyssa were very attentive and knowledgeable. Really awesome service! I have a peanut allergy & they use peanut oil to fry but I was able to get canola oil instead because they were very helpful. Best tartar sauce ever haha and loved the spicy mozz sticks as they were actually spicy 🔥Would definitely be back ☺️

Best food on the Boardwalk. The Pizza is amazing. Mini Corn Dogs are awesome! Not much on the menu I don't like.

Food was so good, and I forgot to take a picture of the home fries. The games, music and staff were wonderful and very family-friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the once bar/club Voodoo Hut go into the kitchen bar scene. It's a split of indoor outdoor so seating is ample but if you plan on staying in the cool AC the seating is limited. The food is great, it's almost like elevated bar food but done very well. Fried pickles are locally made and come in surprisingly great flavors. Sandwiches are sized very well and loaded. Only complaint was the oversalted fries but that's a small detail that did not overshadow the meal overall. Super casual atmosphere in a fun area, definitely recommend.

Went for lunch on a holiday. Not crowded, really nice patio with strong fans which kept it tolerable on a hot day! Also surprisingly clean bathrooms.
Service was a bit slow but waitress was great when she was around. Ate mostly appetizers and they were all pretty great. Only thing that was disappointing was the fish tacos (and the waitress quickly offered to take them off the bill which I didn't even expect). Looking forward to checking this place out when it's safe to party again!

Seafood Cobb salad is not what is listed on the menu. It does not come with lump crab and the shrimp on it are the frozen baby shrimp. When I returned it to the kitchen I was yelled at by the “owner of the kitchen” (in front of my 6 yr old daughter) on why did I expect large shrimp on a “chef salad” and that they took off the crab meat because the price increased. I did not argue with that, my response was that it had not met my expectations since it was different than what the menu described. I was then told they can’t change all the menus when the menus are paper and are already falling apart. Completely unprofessional. This was our first experience here as people had recommended their brunch in the food group we are in for our area. We won’t ever be back and can’t believe we were spoken to so poorly.
