Called in for a takeaway coffee and thought for a moment I'd hopped across the ditch to Melbourne into the crazy world of treat your customers like they're an inconvenience. The young lady at the front counter needs some guidance in how to engage with people. No greeting, no small talk (not even the smallest of the small), wouldn't look me in the eye and just clearly didn't want to be there. The coffee was fine but the barista wasn't any better with her dialogue. Is it becoming a forgotten art to be pleasant or are cafes just becoming a pretentious playground for people to outwardly display their misery? Won't be back to try the food, doesn't seem worth it. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The young lady who was serving me about 1pm was horrible. Huffing at me whenever I asked a question. Rolling her eyes. Speaking to me with the worst tone. Never in my life have I been spoken to or treated to like this by someone working working customer service. Arrived at 1pm to find the kitchen closed. When we finally got served it was unfriendly to be quite honest he looked like he needed a shower. Definitely not a front of house person. We walked out without ordering anything. Disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Great staff. Extra service with salad with muffin. Easily enough for lunch with wide varity of flavors Waitress came over with knife and fork with napkin. Great coffee and interesting decor around chemistry to fit the name. Located in middle of large shops.

Hands down best espresso I had so far. So good I got the second one right after I finished the first one. Foood is great as well and service with a smile. Can't ask for more, really. Top notch

I love the theme of Catalyst Eatery. They have just opened, so the staff is still learning - but I think they have done an awesome job so far. Good selection of food and drinks. Some interesting and unique items as well.
