At first I thought this was a bit of a tourist trap like you may do... But it's lovely , you must visit. The food was amazing and I only had the smaller plates to share propa decent bit of grub. A big plus is a personal pallet of drinks you can choose 2/3/4/5/6/7/8 which is great. We managed to get a great table over looking the water. Our staff waitress was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great visit while 🫸 to board our boat trip on the pier next door (side acces out the back) . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've been here twice and unfortunately both times there was an issue for someone in our group. First time the wrong meal arrived and second time no meal arrived. Both issues were resolved but it strikes me that this place can be a little disorganised. It's a shame because the quality of food is decent. Came in after our Hole in the rock tour, lunch was delicious. A bit of confusion giving the wrong table our food a d then got the wrong meal but staff were very apologetic, really felt bad and handed out a free beer. Loved everything about this spot. Most of the food seemed like it was pulled from the freezer. The chowder was way too thick, and the texture of everything in it was way too soft. The only thing that seemed like it was cooked fresh for the Indonesian fried rice was the egg on top, whereas the egg in the Caesar salad did not. The "house made bacon" in the Caesar was just diced ham. The dish that we finished was the seared tuna, which was basically cooked completely through. Good food, though some of the condiments seemed randomly assigned. Service was generally good, but either they didn't want to serve more drinks, or didn't think to ask. They did end up refusing to do a second round of shots, which I thought was actually fair, and they handled the negative reactions of some of our large group well. The food was amazingly delicious, the views were breathtaking, this place is easily accesible from anywhere in Paihia. We returned for some breakfast the very next day as the service was so good & swift! Everything from the ambience, to the views and friendly service is highly recommended! Great location at the harbor in Paihia with stunning views. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. If you order the burger, don’t bother with the lettuce wrap they offer on the menu. It’s just a piece of lettuce on a toothpick. But that shouldn't stop you from eating here. The burger was delicious! I would definitely go again. CBK is a great dinner option. We had the steak sandwich, craft burger (x2) and chicken strips (kids meal). The service was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is laidback and casual, and food was delicious. I ordered my steak sandwich medium rare and it was cooked perfectly (which is difficult to do). It had a nice char grilled Smokey flavour and mushroom sauce. I highly recommend this place, especially for families. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Great service at front of house, very nice staff! Nice restaurant on waterfront. Son ordered the bacon eggs bene, I got the salmon eggs bene. My salmon was way over cooked and so was the eggs, requested mine and sons eggs to be redone. Hollandaise was overpowered with vinegar, not nice at all, honestly the worst salmon Eggs Benedict I've had. Pancakes were enjoyed although more maple syrup would be nice. Partner ordered the big breakfast which was fine, nothing great, one egg over cooked but he didn't want to wait, not very fulling as we had to get him more food when we left. Unable to order anything besides breaky until 12pm except for some chips which was nice. We actually came for the steak and burgers but will have to wait till next time, where I hope I can edit the rating. Requested a Pina Colada which isn't on the menu, unfortunately it didn't taste anything like it, no pineapple or coconut cream, tasted like bailey's and white rum but appreciate them trying.
