Definitely worth visiting and tasting . The whole ritual of eating and dinning is excellent. The different tastes are very balanced especially for the starters and the dip plate ! Service is great and even though no one speaks English it never seems to be a problem. This is because the whole atmosphere and setting is so good !
Location is perfect. Views amazing and service perfect. We came in for lunch and i guess they are not really into this. Food was good, but not special. But views and service made up for it. We paid 650 tl for lunch and soda so for us it was oke. Thanks again for serving lunch while i guess you were not expecting it.

They only serve fix menu. And if you're vegetarian, tough luck, you will also need to order the meat dishes. What a rip-off. There are more welcoming options close-by though
The place is pretty with intricate decor. The decoration pieces are beautiful and were chosen well. The food reflects tha Mardin cuisine with a stylish presentation. The taste of the food is ok but I think is overrated.all of this is what would you expect when reviewing a restuarant. But what is a bit of a shock is the attitude of the staff. Most of them in general. I tried not to be biased and just review the place, but it was overwhelming.
Beautiful place, located in a great location and has a great view on the top. The food was excellent. Try their sherbet. It was wonderful. We had a fixed menu but all the given food was delicious and fulfilling. This was all good. So what was bad? The show. Yes there are two shows. The first one is an elderly man (chief waiter maybe?) was dancing between the tables with a glass on his head, waiting for tips. The second act included all the waiters. They walked around the tables showing the large pot which included the main course; rice in the bottom and a giant lamb leg on the top (which was delicious). After the second show, they keep on singing while putting the portions on plates. That took a long while but the taste was worth the wait. Note: There is no bread in the premises. You'll see a thin round tortilla like bread-ish thing and that's it. They are packed 1 per bag. Still, go and eat; experience the place. I don't understand the mentality of forcing people to eat fixed menu especially in the middle of the day, is it greed? is it arrogance? you tell. I can understand that there is a set menu in the evenings. But I can't during the day. Also, set menus are expensive. Yes, the food is better than my experiences in Mardin. To be a good person, you must be fair about sharing your good knowledge with people by affordable pricing and options. My first visit was in the evening and I had dinner as a set menu. I went there another day for lunch in the afternoon and there is no "à la carte" so of course I left.
