I am an old school fan of Chaye Khana when it comes to their traditional and famous food like tea , parathas, french toast. When I have tried their Nachos it was just ok. Their burgers are also very average and nothing special about them. The ambiance however is always cozy and service level is very good. Parking is a big issue in peak hours. Visited Chaye Khana I-8 branch and we thought we'd try their Beef Steak Today, So we ordered it. But the quality and quantity disappointed us a lot. Very below average taste and price of Steak was not according to quantity. It was high in price and less in taste. Not Recommended! Nice place for a quick snack. They have some items that you don't normally find in other places. Food was good; however, waiters could be more attentive. Went to Brunch with family. Overall taste was great, unlike lahore which was not that good. Here the halwa puri and the french toast variants were excellent. Atmosphere was very good also. This place is so serene and the service is very good being a loyal customer. This just 1 single sandwich order took 25/27 mins to serve. Though taste was fine but very long waiting and that time when only 2/3 tables were occupied or you can see 10% busy. I ordered separate tea that used to come in a special cattle that was not there unfortunately so I was asked to change the order since they don’t have the cattle. Chaaye Khana has always been good but it was my first experience like this. They really need to work on improving services. Rest all good. I kicked off my lunch break in chaaye khana. Every time i eagerly go for breakfast yet i distinct for chicken steak so i ordered it. They ladle me with great presentation giving aromatic smell and mouth watering taste. The service was first rated and the staff was euphemistic. The tea was flavourful as always.
