Biiig fan of Charlie’s Chicken! I know if I want some fresh chicken with good flavor, this is the place to be. I enjoy how each day there is a different featured item to choose from as well! Wednesday’s are my favorite because of their Chicken & Dumplings 🤤👀 The Chicken Chunks are one of my favorites too! WHEN CHARLIES FOOD IS FRESH ITS MY FAVORITE CHICKEN PLACE. Food was awful today and I’m not one to leave reviews. Chicken wasn’t fresh. Had more bread than chicken on the chunks and the chicken was like eating jerky. Mac and cheese had a clay like texture to it. I’m guessing it was two days old? This is not only one of the best fried chicken place in B.A. but their customer experience is constantly consistent. Unlike most places these days they focus on customer satisfaction while still placing importance on employees which shows everytime they greet a customer. If you have had a bad experience with this place then it's probably your fault. They apologized for being out of dark meat and i said " who cares I'm sure it will still be good" and it was per usual. Great food. Even better people. I ordered and made an error. When they handed me the order in my car, it wasn't what I thought I ordered. After I discovered my error they gave me the order I thought I ordered. Even though I owed them more money, they wouldn't take it. They said thank you sir, please come back. Super place. I tend to spend too much when I go here. I do genuinely enjoy the food, though. My only real complaints are that the condiments are all packet based now (except for the gravy). The kids are real connoisseurs of Mac n cheese. They have eaten Mac n cheese at Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Mediterranean, and other places but would not eat the Mac n cheese if I paid them. The chicken was tasty. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

11/10/21 Got the 5 pc steak fingers with corn dodgers and wedges. Also, got an additional order of corn dodgers. How do I say this...? Worst food ever. Greasy, which could potentially be tolerated, however there was NO flavor in anything. No salt, tasted stale, and just carelessly thrown together. The service was polite but would still never return not even to other locations. If you like floured grease that looks like real food, you'll be in heaven!
