If I could package this restaurant, I would bring it back to the USA. Every dish was phenomenal and I loved how the chef came and spoke to every table. 10/10 recommend! This is our first visit, from the states, during our vacation, but it won’t be our last! Upon arrival to the restaurant we were excited to see it was very upscale! The ambiance, the professional staff, and the table settings greatly enhanced our dining experience. The special attention, by Chef Pascal himself, when my nut allergy was shared with him, was nothing short of amazing! Chef Paschal reviewed each menu item I ordered, with me, to ensure I would not have a reaction; even going the extra mile to research pine nuts to know it could be problematic for me, and thus he created a side dish especially for me! His concern and actions were highly impressive, and appreciated! The drinks! The food! The sauces!! All were beyond Our expectations! We ordered a salad, fried cheese and clams for our appetizers. The sauce for the fried cheese was magic in my mouth! The contrasting flavors of the fruit sauce and peppercorns made my mouth sooo happy! I wish I could bottle that sauce up and take it home to Texas! Our entrees were the fish special for the evening, escargot and the lobster medallions and fettuccine with pesto sauce. They were all prepared perfectly and melted in our mouth! Finally, the cost and service. For the service, drinks, and food we enjoyed, we fully expected to pay handsomely for such a great experience. We were pleasantly surprised at the value! At their prices there is no reason everyone can’t dress up and enjoy a wonderful night out on the town. Spoil yourself by visiting Chef Pascal’s restaurant, it will be a treat you won’t ever forget, and hopefully will become a regular occurrence. We definitely plan to return at our next vacation here. The food and service were excellent. Chef Pascal came to our table and we had a fun conversation with him Price is worth the experience .(where else in Panama can you eat rabbit?).We'll go back for dessert, we were too full after the main dish... We were so excited when we first heard of a real french cook in Coronado. But what we experienced was rather disapointing (especially for being a real french cook) and extremely expensive for the quality offered. The service was good. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
If you look for fine dining, this is the place! The ambiance is elegant. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. The menu has great choices, and the portions are generous. The food is great, and the taste is phantastic. The prawns were cooked to absolute perfection. The rabbit is "to die for". The service is excellent. When we entered, we were greeted by Chef Pascal, who is very friendly, kind and courteous - so is the staff. The whole experience was extremely pleasant, and we highly recommend this place! Food was ok. Not bad but certainly not worth the wait we had. 1 hour 20 minute wait for our main dishes to arrive (we were a table of 2). And whilst the servers were perfectly pleasant, they did not address this situation well by proactively managing such a significant delay. I want to be fair and say the food is perfectly fine, but I would not recommend going out of your way to visit as I think you will be disappointed if you go with high expectations. With fresh ingredients and creative and rich sauces I have never had a meal at Chef Pascal that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The staff is attentive while not overbearing and the atmosphere is relaxed but still classy. Chef Pascal is a a must try while you are in the beaches area of Panama Oeste! We had the beef filet and lobster pesto linguini with onion soup and calamari. I recommend the beef filet, which is very delicious with Michelin star quality. The soup and calamari are very good as well. The lobster pasta needs work. It was tough and cold. Should had been poached in butter. Overall, it's a high-end restaurant with reasonable prices for good french food and probably the best in the area.
