Went to Chez Daniel for a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Was incredibly underwhelmed from the service to food.
First the night started with a not so welcoming greeting, then the restaurant owner’s wife saunters around the restaurant taking customers orders and appeared to be the only person taking orders then strolls away. She treats customers as if she is doing them a favor allowing them to eat in her restaurant. Never came by to check on how we were doing or if we wanted to order anything else. It was pretty clear that she considered us to below her class being non members.
Outside of that disappointing treatment, the food was subpar at best. For the price they are charging the flat iron steak should not have the tough muscle/sinew throughout the steak. The steak was not tender or flavorful.
Beyond that the desserts were also underwhelming. The profiteroles tasted like frozen cream puffs from Costco. The custard was essentially flan and the soufflé lack flavor except the taste of the Grand Marnier and grainy sugar granules.
We’ve been to brunch here previously and it was great. Chef Daniel is really nice and seems to care but based on our Thanksgiving dinner, we have no desire to return.

We had brunch here to celebrate my birthday, and we loved the whole experience!
Every item on the line was better than the last!
Started with a wonderful salad (don't miss the sweet potatoes or the ceviche); finished with a fantastic chocolate pudding! Delicious!
Thank you, Daniel!!

From the moment we walked it the service was amazing. We enjoyed every bite and every drink. A superb menu and chef to deliver the taste to us. It made us remember being in a five star restaurant in Paris.

We were a party of 10 for Valentine’s Day. After 2 1/2 hours we were still waiting to be served our meals. I told the hostess that some in our party were ready to leave and she said we would be served next. The rack of lamb was cold and was sent back. The snapper was so salty it was inedible, but no one seemed to notice or ask why that meal wasn’t eaten. After over 3 hours we skipped dessert and got the checks.
A very expensive and unpleasant experience.

8 pm reservation, 2 other tables, 1 couple had a dog which was barking n Sat on their table, other table had 7 who were unbelievably loud - my party of 6 couldn’t hear each other n the hostess commiserated but said nothing to the people. The food was so terrible-they must have given us what was left at end of night. My duck confit was so oily ngreasy that she didn’t charge us. 2 of the 3 steak orders were good but the other fatty and the bouillabaisse inedible! Such an expensive and disappointing experience!

French restaurant inside of gated community Palmas del Mar. Service and food were incredible. You should try theyre weekend brunch buffet. Prking is available infront of the building and during your stay you will have an amazing view of the golf course. Highly recommend.
What a delight! Superb customer service, we were treated like royalty and staff was very accommodating with the kids. The food was delicious and the dessert to die for.
Wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner, 6 course meal all well designed and very tasty. The service was great and the atmosphere was celebrative and fancy. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Don't Use the Website to Make a Reservation! We enjoyed our Mother's Day Brunch so much that we decided to go back for Father's Day. After trying to call several times with no answer, I went to the website. There I found a chat bot who seemed to take our reservation for 3pm. It confirmed the reservation and we thought we were set.
We showed up on time and the manager told us we did not have a reservation. She asked Chef if they could fit us in (there were only 2 of us), but she came back saying they were overbooked and could not accommodate us. They were completely unapologetic about the website not working, they acted like we should have known it did not work. We were super disappointed. I am a type 2 diabetic and vegetarian, so the variety of food served at the brunch was very appealing to me.
They recommended we go to the restaurant next door at the Golf Club. The menu there had nothing either of us wanted, so on the recommendation of one of the staff we headed over to the Plaza where we found Augustina, an Argentinian Steak and Pasta restaurant. This turned out to be a Godsend.
The staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing! The views were also spectacular. I had the Eggplant Parm and the hubby had a beautiful NY Strip steak cooked to perfection. We were so happy that we were turned away at Chez Daniel, as now we have another new favorite restaurant!
